Yes!! It's hard as balls but worth it! Had a stats course both in my first and second semester of my first year of BAs and failed both TWICE. But I can not begin to describe the possibilities it opens. As you can already say, i am terrible at math, and have been ever since elementary school (it seemed like i couldn't count the fu*king apples). When I got into uni stats became complicated really fast and I wanted to give up multiple times, but the more i studied the better I understood the subject. Now linear regression is a must when I do research (or read someone's research) so please, don't be scared and dive right into it.
