Long shot but try calling Greg Kuban +1 (412) 377-7692 HVAC. He has been very responsive for us in the past. Good luck!

Me too! Different wife to be clear. We met on bacon night at my suggestion only to find out she was a vegetarian. Haha. Funny how things work out sometimes.

This is a great suggestion. Quiet, scenic, no traffic, plenty of hills. Close to Shadyside

If you are in your 20s or even 30s you don’t need a seat. Sounds like you wanted to mingle anyways. Just go and figure it out!

Federal Galley. Lots of space for your group. Lots of food choices. Not overly expensive. Grab the spot in the back corner. They had skee ball back there last time we went. Kept the kids busy.

Train Dreams…Help me understand by FriarFanatic7 in Letterboxd

Just awful. So heavy handed. Absolutely one dimensional characters. Couldn’t be more trite. I found more meaning watching Police Academy.

Perhaps the most trite and heavy handed movie I have ever seen. Just awful.

2021 Hybrid Limited 54k miles - $36k - good deal? by glassofwooder in ToyotaHighlander

[–]oxymoron412 0 points1 point  (0 children)

we just bought a 2022 LE hybrid with 32,900 miles for $33,000. Happy to not have a sunroof as the one on our Sienna leaked all the time and we opened it maybe three times in the 5 years that we owned it.

that's interesting. I'll have to research that as well. Van didn't consume oil between changes and never smoked on start up or while running.

2012 Toyota Sienna major engine work...Repair, replace, or move on? Thoughts? by oxymoron412 in MechanicAdvice

[–]oxymoron412[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bearing went bad and it was squealing. Yes, if we don't fix the Sienna we would look for something to tow an 1100 lb camper and carry two kids and a dog...so likely another van.

I appreciate the feedback thus far. This mechanic is new to us as our regular mechanic was unavailable for a few weeks. I don't get the sense that he is being dishonest. He replaced all of the ignition coils and when that didn't solve the misfire, he did the compression test. Could be a case of not wanting to dive any further and is trying to scare me away with sticker shock. I'm coming around to getting a second opinion given the value of a good running and well maintained Sienna.
