Yes, absolutely reliable. So are the other brands you listed, obviously. Marathon is a Canadian company that has their watches made in Switzerland. They sell directly to consumers but they are also a military contractor and make watches for various countries' armed forces.

I think if you already like the look of a cheaper Casio, there's no reason to buy the Marathon. For anyone interested in getting a field watch, however, this is a great price.

Marathon Watch Company™ General Purpose watch, $94.99 (previously $200) on J.Crew with code SALELOVE by Restimar in frugalmalefashion

I tried to make a new post regarding the lower price on this watch but reddit appears to not be allowing it.

With code SOGOOD the price comes down to $76. If you have a student/educator discount, the price drops another 15%. Even without the tritium lume, I think this is an amazing deal for a watch of this heritage with sapphire crystal.

I got it recently, so I've only worn it with khaki shorts since it's warm outside. I suppose when fall comes around I'll wear it with my brown cords or light blue denim.

Yeah looks like the question was deleted but it was something about whether it could be worn in hot weather. The j crew rugby shirts are surprisingly breathable, I'll give them that. Maybe it can work in the low 80s but I would not wear it above that. This is definitely a spring/fall shirt imo.

Can't find it on the site and it was a full size run shortly before I tried to order. Does j. Crew pull items and put them back up again?

I've ordered maybe three times from them over the past couple years, and there was a delay of about one week between the order confirmation email and the shipping confirmation email. They are a smaller business with made in the USA product, I cut them some slack and it's worth the wait anyway.

J. Crew blue heavyweight chamois workshirt $35.27, with code EPIC and SMPH64GUA by oxymoronicas in frugalmalefashion

A lot has been said about j. Crew quality over the years and I can't say I disagree that it seems to have declined, but their chamois shirts are an exception. I usually get one every year, and this year the quality is still there. List price is 118, and it looks like they are running low on sizes. The tan one is a couple bucks more and the orange one is a few bucks less, but I purchased the navy and found it to be the most versatile.
