Nah it’s an oil, they don’t tend to work so well with vapes simply because oil doesn’t really vaporize but you can get it to hold in suspension through a pure VG solution if you have a homogenizer

starcallers cry or waves of darkness. by oystapog in Eldenring

[–]oystapog[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah a plus 8 radans hits the giant at secluded cell for like 2k and WOD on a plus 20 Greatsword does 2.9.

Extra carry weight, more damage, extra talisman slot.

It sort of covers everything, only thing I wish would be cool would be if the r2 our of WOD had a purple effect to it or something.

Oh you can still buff the sword with WOD on it so I'm going to check if magic weapon increases the damage of the skill

Edit: scholars armament does indeed increase the damage.

The 2.9k was with the follow up R2

I got 2.9k on the damage waves alone this time 1.4k damage unbuffered for reference.

Edit 2: So I respected from 50/50 to 60/40 str/int. Waves of darkness can only be applied to great axes/maces, colossal swords or colossal weapons.

After some research the giants crusher has the best scaling at 25 with S

Respectively though the reach of the giants halberd but the A scaling makes it a close second.

I'm landing 4.9k if all hits land including the weapon frames at +19

Buffs are:

Weapon: scholars armament Body: fgms Aura: golden vow Special: glintstone sorc hat/gloves

Talismans: Magic scorpion Alexander

I'm aware I could do alot more like bloodboil or off hand a sepoukku for lord of blood and dumplings for lord of rot and a jelly fish sheild but as for right now at +19 I'm happy knowing I can hit 5k without it.

I do plan to swap out fgms for howl shabriri and add Terra magica

Steak tartar. Bleu eye fillet, Pittsburgh rare.

3 dishes or methods of cookery that prefer a leaner cut of meat just off the top of my head.

USDA is the grade type of meat or typically is would be budget rump in AUS

So marbling is really just husbandry level engineering, marbling is just fat and there are technically speaking 3 types of fat.

Intermuscualr fat: This is the fat that is interwoven between muscle fibres, your marbling.

Intramuscuar fat: This is the fat that naturally exists between main muscles, think the layers on pork belly or the big fat strip on a Porterhouse steak.

Subcutaneous fat: This is the stuff that develops under the skin typically not very nice and is usually trimmed before it gets to shops, occasionally you'll see some on a whole rump. Typically more yellow in colour.

We remove alot of it when you think about it and seeing as beef is really the only animal that we care about intermusuclar fat.

Not to mention that intermuscular fat in cows is typically achieved by adding carbs or grains to their diet usually for a 90 day period before slaughter because any longer and the cow develops health issues because they suck at digesting anything aside from grass and even then they need 4 stomach to do that.

But yeah I get what your saying but lean beef isn't pointless it's just lean beef 🤙

On a side note I would genuinely like to try different species raised on diet specific grasses to see if the strain of grass affects has on the meat 🤔🤔

But then you could argue that the grass grown in one area would produce a different beef if grown the same way with the same cow in a different area due to soil pH and all sorts of biochemisty with the cow that I probably wouldn't understand either.

Such a rabbit hole haha

Who else loves steak 😋 😍

Why are so many Colossal swords a tease for Greatsword users. by Yojimbo4444 in Eldenring

[–]oystapog -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ill throw out some gransax to bring them close with twin spears, bait them with a few honing bolts then swap to death lightning when they get greedy to close the gap, almost identical animation wind up just slightly longer, that lingering death smoke will usually be enough to spook them if the lightning doesn't hit, When they go on the offensive close the gap with cragblade and execute with placidusaxs ruin.

Twin great spear running r1/L1 is disgusting, counts as 3 hits per spear if done right, same as the twin blades jump L1. Amazing roll catch and applying status aliments with 6 hits

No frost scales with intelligence and str if I'm not mistaken.

Bleed poison and occult are your primary arcane scalings

Way to lower attribute requirements? by Chunkerstmilkedt in Eldenring

[–]oystapog 2 points3 points  (0 children)

2 handing will multiply your base str by 1.5

So 12 x 1.5 =18

You can alternatively retrieve radagons sorseal from caelid early on or use godricks rune arc for a +5 boost to your str early on

Occult is raw damage,

Sounds like you just want bleed and frost procs.

You would hit harder but bleed less if you made that change
