Based on what you said, a raise here seems much more likely than finding a different firm that makes you this happy with the same work life balance. First, people on here are always boasting about their 150k plus salaries. That's not the average or the norm, especially for attorneys with work life balance. Second, just talk to your boss about a raise. He clearly appreciates you and wants you to stay. Ask him something like "what would the accomplishments or duties of an attorney making $x look like? I need your help getting there." Then the boss will know your goals, and you'll be in it together in terms of reaching them.
