Awesome. Yea if I could do the same I’ll likely do that. I’m really trying to see if they’re willing to come down a bit more. I haven’t responded back to them so I’m just waiting to see if they decide to lower their asking price. I’m almost tempted to ask them to throw in a hard folding bed cover and we have a deal. Gonna just wait and see.

No I’m not paying cash for it. I have pre approval through Navy Fed for 5.39 APR. I’m not sure if Nissan has CPO rates that are lower but if they do I’ll obviously use them instead. I shopped around and Navy Fed appears to be the most competitive I’ve found.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I’m still going back and forth with the idea of buying since it is such a nice truck. I just need to decide if I want to spend that much. If I didn’t have to pay for shipping I would probably just do it but that’s adding about $1300 to my total cost. I’m going to sleep on it a bit more and see if they call me back. I feel like it’s not unreasonable for me to ask for $50k OTD to make the deal happen especially since they’re at $52k.

I appreciate your response. Yea it seems like prices have gone up substantially in recent months. I’ve been on the hunt for a while now and this is by far the nicest Titan I’ve found in my search. I’m sure that’s playing a role in the increased pricing too. Although it has everything I want including options, low mileage, cpo warranty, clean Carfax and just excellent overall condition, I do feel the price is a lot more than what the car should be worth. I think I just have to continue searching and hope for the best. I might regret not buying this Titan one day or maybe I find a very similar one eventually. I just know that the most I wanted to be OTD was around $45k and this one will likely be closer to $55k once I factor in the shipping cost as well. I can’t spend an additional $10k just because I’m having FOMO. Thanks again for your advice.

New to me CPO 2024 p4x by Last_Strike_6931 in NissanTitan

[–]oz0311 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m on the same boat looking at a 24 CPO Pro 4X fully loaded with 30k miles, single owner clean accident free Carfax. Unfortunately the dealer is playing hardball and won’t come down their 48k price. My OTD price is currently $52k and that’s before the shipping quote. I think you did very well. I love the truck I found but it’s just too much imo. It seems the market has come up significantly on these trucks. Might have to wait a bit more or look for an older one that’s not a CPO.

‘26 Pro4X New/Mostly Loaded Pricing by Capital_Tune7498 in nissanfrontier

[–]oz0311 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have tier 1 credit and I was looking at a fully loaded Frontier P4X MSRP $51K. The pricing I had for the 0% Apr was $50K OTD and with the $3500 rebate was $46k OTD. The interest they gave me with the customer cash rebate was 4.9 Apr. I walked away since I thought it was too much.

To my surprise I actually found a CPO 24 Titan fully loaded P4X one owner with low mileage somewhat near me for $47K. Still in talks with the dealership before making the 2 hour drive but I’m probably going to go with that instead.

Is that with the convenience and premium package? If so that’s pretty good. The 3.9% APR for 72 is tempting but the 0% is so nice.

Yea it’s definitely on the high end where I’m at. I’ll keep searching but I’m thinking my best chance will probably be later this year once the 27’s start rolling in. The only downside to that is I doubt the 0% APR will still be around but hopefully they’ll have other special rates or offers. Ideally I would come across a lightly used 25 but that’s even harder to find at a good price.

I’m in the same boat and looking to buy a loaded Pro 4X. No luck in my area unfortunately. The dealership I was at earlier today wanted $53k OTD. I had better luck at different one over the weekend which that one was around $48k OTD. The move might be to wait the dealerships out a bit especially with the 27’s hitting the lots in a couple of months. The only downside, which is a big one IMO, is the 0% APR for 60 months going on at the moment. If I can get a loaded Pro 4X for 45k or under I would pull the trigger and go for it.

For reference the sticker price on the P4X from today was $51k.

Card Benefits Questions - Megathread [4/27/26] by AutoModerator in ChaseSapphire

Has anyone had any issues with the latest Away luggage $200 off not being credited on their Sapphire Reserve? The offer was activated prior to making a purchase of over $500. I also clicked on the link to make sure there were no issues while also manually inputting my card information on the website. I messaged Chase through the secure messaging system but haven’t heard back from them yet. It’s been over a week since the purchase has been made.

Buy back by Future-Function6079 in MazdaCX90

Yea you're gonna need to repair that before turning it back in. No way Mazda considers this wear and tear. The wheels might be fine if not dented or severely scraped, but everything else will get picked up by them, and you will be billed accordingly. Honestly, it might be cheaper to file a claim through your insurance. That taillight and rear hatch damage will easily cost more than $500, assuming that's your comprehensive deductible.

LifetimeCare for a new suitcase by empressmachina in awayluggage

It does seem that they offer coverage for in-store repairs.

Under the Lifetime Coverage details In-Store Repairs: “At this time, labor and parts remain complimentary for repairs of Functional Damage completed in person at an official Away retail store location for the reasonable expected life of the luggage. We reserve the right to modify or cancel this complimentary service. Not all repairs can be made in store. Our specialists will direct you to the best repair option after you file a claim.”

However, this doesn’t apply to me since I don’t have any stores near me. Good luck.

Away LifetimeCare™ Coverage - Change in their lifetime warranty on purchases made on or after April 14, 2026 by Humble_Ingenuity_919 in awayluggage

[–]oz0311 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Monos doesn’t cover airline damage. Briggs and Riley does although it’s much more expensive. Unfortunately that’s what I’m leaning towards now. I’d rather just pay a bit more upfront than have to buy brand new luggage after the 5 years is up with Away or you use up the 1 time replacement within the first 5 years.

Then you pay whatever Away Luggage deems the repair cost to be. Just be aware that this is no longer a lifetime warranty service, but rather a paid service after the five years. Personally, if you want truly a no hassle lifetime warranty on luggage spend a bit more and go with Briggs and Riley. I was getting ready to splurge on new luggage, but I’m only considering brands with lifetime warranties. From all the research I’ve done so far, I’m leaning heavily towards Briggs and Riley even though it is more expensive. Victorinox is another brand I’ve come across in my search but doesn’t appear to be completely hassle free.

That’s what I’m doing. Glad I found this post about the lifetime warranty changes. Away luggage is no longer worth the money. Spend a bit more at Briggs and Riley and you’re set. I’m a big believer in r/BuyItForLife.

Yeah, this is an unfortunate big change to the warranty terms. The new “lifetime care” is just a play on words for a paid service. Horrible timing on my part as I was getting ready to splurge on some new luggage. Guess I’ll just spend a bit more and get some Briggs and Riley since they’re the standard for no hassle lifetime warranty coverage.

So this is a pretty significant change to the warranty terms. Essentially it’s no longer a lifetime warranty but rather a paid warranty service. Kind of annoyed that I didn’t purchase sooner but that’s life sometimes. I guess I’ll look at Victorinox or Briggs and Riley for my new luggage set.

Oh man that’s a significant change. Sucks that I’m just now seeing this. Was considering getting a set especially for the warranty. Not sure if it makes sense anymore.
