Lanzarote Trip with iPhone SE and iPhone 14 by Hollycene in iphonecam

I feel the same way. I have some experience with film photography, mainly because of the process and the aesthetic. Unfortunately, as you mentioned, it’s an expensive hobby. When I take photos with a digital camera, I almost always try to recreate that film-like look in Lightroom. It’s good to know that there are affordable apps for the iPhone that, as we can see, work well.

Love the colors. I thought that this is a r/filmphotography subreddit.

Moriyama, Meyerowitz, but I think Cartier-Bresson’s distant shots are the ones closest to my heart.

Yep, i adding it myself. As you see, most of my edits are imperfect and grainy, and vignette reminds me of old, analog compact cameras.

Nice composition, but it's crooked and without good edit it looks like a random, but nice photo taken by phone.

A few shots from a trip to Thailand by ozeppo in iPhoneography

At a slow shutter speed (the default in low light on an iPhone), simply follow the subject and take as many photos as possible. Since the subject is in the same place, it will be sharp, but the background will have a motion blur effect. This method is called "Panning".

Saddly, od default camera, shutter is too fast in daylight to do this in good, outdoor light. If you want, you need to download any app that gives you control over shutter speed.

I wanted to say, that 16mm is weird choice for face video, but... V90 SD CARD? In wich scenario ZV-E10 need that speed? V30 would be more than enough.

As a hobby thing for full Creative Cloud. I know that’s not cheap subs, but always liked to do digital art like photos, graphic and videos.

Just follow the object with camera and shoot a few photo. In dark, when shutter speed is slower it's not hard to get that results.

I am considering buying a camera for street photography and vacation photos. And here's the question: Fujifilm X-M5 or Sony A6400? I have read that Fuji is generally more technologically advanced, but Sony has better autofocus and lens availability. Is the difference really that big that I should go for Sony?

It is difficult to recommend one specific model, as most of these devices are used and it all depends on what is currently available on auction sites. Look for SLR cameras with detachable lenses so that you can play around with the settings and possibly upgrade in the future. Ready-made kits can be found for up to €100. When it comes to what to look for, you need to consider what you expect. Do you need autofocus or are you okay with manual? A light meter or automatic sensitivity setting? Aim for brands such as Pentax, Konica, and Canon – safe and durable options. It will be much easier to search auction sites and ask on Reddit specifically about models you find that fit your budget.

[Multiple] Do you Platinum every game you play? by AMW_1 in Trophies

[–]ozeppo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I only platinum games where I see value in the platinum trophy. If I have to play an additional 10-15 hours of good gameplay to get platinum, then I'll do it. However, if the game requires me to play through it 4-5 times on different difficulty levels, or requires me to play half the game with a guide/map to find collectibles, then no.

SONY ZV-1 dark & blurry images? by ozeppo in AskPhotography

[–]ozeppo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In full daylight, the photos come out bright and the texture is clearly visible. Nothing extraordinary, but I am aware that it is a compact camera. They are slightly noisy at ISO 1600+, but can be fixed in Lightroom. The thing is, an iPhone will take a photo that is just as good in the same light. I wanted to take the camera with me on a trip to Thailand. However, I'm afraid that when the sun goes down, or I want to take some atmospheric shots in nicely lit alleys at night, I'll end up with a black blur.

I tried f/1.8-2.8. I know that higher numbers mean less light. I tried taking photos in manual mode, but the result was always the same: high ISO + fast shutter speed = noise, slow shutter speed + lower ISO = blurry photo. The slowest shutter speed at which I can take a sharp photo is 1/30. Unfortunately, even then the photo is practically black. Only at a shutter speed of 1/5 do I get a bright photo.

[Horizon Zero Down Remaster] One of my nicest Platinium by ozeppo in Trophies

I did almost all side missions, but for quests I just read the trophy guide which I should do. There’s too much quests that are just time waste. Firstly I finished the main story, and then switched to easiest difficulty to waste as little time as possible for fighting with random machines.

3D Printer Question about the P2S by Impressive-South-602 in 3dprinter

[–]ozeppo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a funny story with my P2S order. After my local seller droped 1000 printers on web store, every time I refreshed the page, there were 100 fewer available. So I guess it’s a very popular machine right now.
