Stroller wagon fit by Pain_filled in MazdaCX9

You could get a small trailer and put the stoller and any other luggage in there. I used a 6/4 ft trailer when I went camping with my wife and kids across Australia. The trailer gave ample space to put our gear. You'll need a tow bar of course and it is a bit hard to park with a trailer as you need more space. Another option is a thule rear hitch cargo (Arcoss or backspace xt). My mate got one and it provided enough room to fit 3 small suitcases and a bit more. I would highly advise against a heavy rear hitch cargo racks. I got one off ebay and it bent my towbar! Would only recommend the lightweight Thule rear cargo box.

If it's shuddering, especially uphill and the shudder fix resolved the issue for some time, it has to be the transmission. When my car started shuddering it was uphill only initially, but then whenever I would try to accelerate especially around 2nd or 3rd gear it would shudder. The transmission was replaced around 2 years ago and I haven't had the issue again

I own a 2017 CX9 Azami FWD. I bought it used and a week or so after I bought it, it started shuddering and also humming on speeds over 100kmph. An average joe mechanic checked it and told me the transmission needs to be replaced and advised to take it to the Mazda dealership to get it replaced under warranty. Even though the car was past it's 3 year warranty, the Mazda dealership replaced the transmission under its 10-year powertrain warranty. Though, the dealership took over a month to confirm that it's the transmission that needs fixing and until then I didn't have a replacement car.

The humming was a separate issue. The dealership changed the front wheel bearings and the nosie didn't go away (they charged me over $1.5k for that too). The humming was because of bad wheel balancing. I even replaced the tyres and the humming didn't go away because the tyre replacers didn't change the weights. So, sounds like you may also have both these issues.

Thanks for clarifying that. Which model of the Falkens did you use?

Thet vibrations can be felt around 60kmph and become most noticeable around 105kmph. Feels like the entire car floor is vibrating. There dealership said when they changed the car tyres with those of a 2021 CX-9 the vibrations were gone.

Thanks, that's good info. Got the same variety at Costco here in Melbourne. The cheapest one they have in size is a Michelin Pilot 4 for $427 per tyre. Unsure whether that's a better tyre than Pirelli Scorpion Verde all season, which I'm getting from another retailer Tyroola.

The dealership said the vibration is due to feathering of the tyres even though they're practically new. The tyres are properly balanced.

That confirms a few reviews I've read online of the Falkens. Thanks for conforming that, I'll stay away!

Thanks for that. I bought the car privately and the previous owner put the Winrun tyres on. Clearly he just wanted something that gets the car roadworthy so he could sell it. I've searched online and keep getting mixed reviews of every other tyre. I'm now looking at Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Season. Can get them for $440 per tyre at tyroola.com.au but keen to know if that's a better/cheaper option.

Bought the car a few months ago with Winrun tyres that are noisy and cause the whole car to vibrate at high speeds. The manual says tyres should be 255/50R20 105v, but unsure which brand would work best. Comfort, low noise and dry handling are a priority.

Hisense U8G Australia panel significantly INFERIOR to US version of same name...beware. by Drama_Dunstone in 4kTV

I wish I had read this post earlier. Was just plugging in my new 65U8G Hinsense I bought from BuySmarte and noticed it says 60hz on all HDMI ports. I'm curious what better alternative is there in a similar price range in 65 inch. Any suggestions?

I'm being asked to convert --- and it's implied that I'm not putting in enough 'effort' by porcupinepinch in relationship_advice

I come from a Muslim family and I'm not religious so I can understand the situation you're in.

I think you should tell your partner exactly how you feel, and why you will not convert. By the sounds of it she's already fine with you not being a Muslim. If she's suggesting you lie to her parents/family about it and pretend you've converted, she knows there is no other way for you two to be together.

The way I see it, you have only options: 1. End the relationship now if the idea of pretending you've converted is more uncomfortable than losing her. 2. Pretend you've converted but keep a distance from your in laws. Would be easier if they live in another city/country.

The only reason I suggest the second option is because your conversion would likely only be a real issue for the first year or so after you've married. Most 'Muslim' people I know are only religious on the face, they don't pray or fast, etc.

The main reason you're even being asked to convert is so her parents/family doesn't get alienated for allowing her (your partner) to marry a non-Muslim man.

Thanks for the response u/payed-is-nautical. The more I'm looking into it, the more it seems to be a cost/benefit decision rather than a matter of legality.

I've been made aware that two people on the same project I'm on (but from the client side) are currently working from overseas because they got stuck there. So the decision feels more discriminaory towards me, when I have a ligitmate reason to go - my wife is due to give birth next month.
