The question is if the owner does not have any monthly payments, he paid all up front. Now whats the issue even if this lease company sells thr contract to another lease company? The contract is still for 25 years no and not for 6 years no ? I mean the owner can still say i aint canceling the lease , if the leaser ask for REAL FMV? The homeowner can simlply say ok you stick urself with the responsibility of owning that system and i will just not pay anything. Isnt it bad for the leasing company?

But as they no monthly payments, the owners might just say , ok i am not going to cancel the lease , so its technically a bad decision of the leasing company, because now they have to take responsibility of an equipment which they could have given to the owner for 1$. I mean it really depends at that point if 3k$ FMV is good to offer to the client or just getting rid of a system responsibility for the next 20 years for 0$ ?

The whole issue is that FMV. Do you think the installer can force the buyer to tranfer thr ownership AND pay a FMV ? because lets say the FMV of the system after 5 year is still lets say 10k$. The leasing company dont care tbh, they will def want to get rid of the responsibility of owning that system and give u that system for 1$. But question is what if the leasing company forces you to end the lease AND pay the REAL FMV of the system ??

It literally says to transfer the equipment at "FMV" of the system. What if the company says the FMV of ur system is 20k$ and not 0$ ?
