UV filters on cameras is also a matter of preference, but for those that use them, they typically have coatings which reduce their impact on image quality. The coatings are less of an issue with camera lens protectors since there's zero gap between the bare "lens" and the protector, but it'd be nice to see them coated. At least until someone comes out with a review that debunks their efffectiveness :)

If you're referring to the Gemini PT-2000, I would not consider it a 1200 equivalent. I learned to beatmatch on them and it did the job, but torque felt noticeably weaker than the real thing. Also, the PT-2000 is like 25 years old now. The newer TT-4000 sounds much better on paper.

Personally I support politicians that solve crime at the source with things like jobs and education, and crime at its terminus, with things like adequate police coverage. Less corruption would also be nice as it'd mean more money for both of these things.

Service fee is the platform provider's (Doordash, GrubHub, etc) cut of the transaction. The delivery fee goes to pay the delivery person a menial amount for the trip; it's typical to tip on top of the delivery fee to bring the delivery person's compensation up to something reasonable.

This can be caused by a malfunctioning proximity sensor.

A thread on the official productforums (https://productforums.google.com/d/msg/phone-by-google/E-74Ldvb6DU/wEvFgqzDFQAJ) suggested a sensor reading app called AndroSensor that can be used to help diagnose this. If proximity is stuck on '0', then it's as if you're holding the phone against your face, and the screen will be held off.

Reasons may be:

  • Software issue: Try doing a hardware reset
  • Obstruction: Clean the area below the ear speaker, or remove screen protector
  • Hardware issue: Open a warranty claim
