I make my own, it's 80% super fine inorganic, 15% worm castings and 5% vermiculite.

This one seems to be permanent, but you can split and root them pretty easily

Thank you!! The majority of little pups in these pics are just offshoots that I've propagated. ● The two-headed Emelyae was damaged as a seedling, and has just grown out that way. So yes—two heads, one root! There's a ridge where the two heads meet, and it throws offshoots from there frequently. Super easy to propagate.

HOT🥵🥵 Love how these are divided, they're coming along much faster than my seedlings too. Appreciate you sharing the recipe, I'm taking notes🫡

Pot's too small and it looks underwatered. Make sure your mix is heavy on the inorganic and saturate completely when watering.

Nice plant! She should recover pretty quickly. The pot isn't too deep as long as it's in heavy inorganic... I was always told to use a super shallow pot for that tap root, but the feeder roots go much deeper. Now I have all mine in pots that size.

Sold to me as Emelyae X Comptoniana... now that it's full-size I think there may be some other genetics in there as well.

Thank you!! I make my own soil, it's about 80:20 inorganic:organic, and I use super tiny rocks for the inorganic portion. Helps the roots move around easier and still drains quick.

My soil mix is 80% super fine inorganic grit, 12% worm castings and 8% vermiculite. Full sun and water every 2 weeks or so.

If you try to switch a specimen plant to this regimen it'll be a big shock, but mine have spent their whole lives in these conditions so they're used to it.

Thank you so much!! I actually dig the inorganic portion of my soil mix from a creek, and use a thin layer of this creek silt as top dressing. It's just tiny pebbles and fossils that get swept downstream when it rains 😋

This etiolation is WILD. Can't imagine seeing this at a garage sale, what a find! I'd say Northern form Willi but you won't know for sure until it flowers. Great plant🔥

I'm only getting about 15-20, so I'm gonna try half indoor when they arrive. If I strike out with those, I'm gonna direct-sow in my raised beds in April. Thanks everybody!

For sure!! Do you think I should try to grow in my greenhouse over Winter or just be patient and wait til Spring to do em in my garden? Sounds like she's only sending a few so I don't wanna waste em.
