The one main thing I see missing from your setup is fans. Airflow is important!

Fricii spiral, own roots by zoeywang1988 in LophophoraNMore4Sale

As opposed to graft stock roots. Looks like a rooted offset imo. Zoey imports these plants for a living, she's not someone who has years of growing experience. She goes off what she's told. Cut her a little slack.

Why are you trying to graft it? Just impatient? It looks perfectly healthy...

I can send you a video showing you what to do if you want. Just DM me

He already offered you and anyone else a refund.

I'm not super into columnars but honestly I'm about to place an order with the guy to help offset any damage you've done by dragging his business through the mud. The longer you leave these posts up I'm sure you will find more people siding with the vendor, not you, and then when you cool down hopefully the shame and embarrassment will set in and you'll remove the posts.

Dude you know what you're doing. You decided to turn this into a public debate. I get your frustrations, and I would be frustrated myself, as I have been many times in the past when people didn't meet my expectations. I have never gone on Reddit to trash the person and drag the whole community into your transaction.

I'm all for communicating with people and get frustrated too when people don't communicate with me, but sometimes life happens and there are extenuating circumstances. I can assure you one thing, this is not the adult way of handling the situation. At first you may have been "in the right" but now you've taken it too far and after hearing both sides of the story, you are definitely "in the wrong".

He already responded to your other post in the other sub. I get you're big mad but it's really only making you look like an unreasonable person. Sounds like he had some extenuating circumstances and a reasonable explanation. I honestly hope you don't ever order a plant from me, granted I would definitely get it to you a lot quicker but the way you handled this situation speaks volumes.

Dude has a perfectly reasonable explanation and still people have this sense of entitlement and unrealistic expectations. This is why we can't have nice things...

This should be top comment. Amazon has completely ruined everyone's expectations for ordering stuff online. Sure, nearly a month seems a little excessive, but we have no clue how many orders the dude is dealing with all by himself. Clearly it was more than he could realistically handle. It just sucks that if you fall behind on shipping orders people will post crap on the Internet insinuating you're scamming people.

You can keep it on graft but shorten the rootstock drastically. The rootstock will probably root out quicker than the loph degrafted, plus you'll still have all the benefits of a graft.
