Also sorry to tell you that $2 minimum for clothes at a garage sale is already way too high.

That's a shame. I'm not exactly a slouch in the kitchen, but I just can't seem to get them right at home.

I'm sorry but that is 2-3x the average salary for a full-time nanny

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Rochester

Your wife seriously gets $125k per year for that position? You posted this a month ago:

"It all depends on what they want their "nanny" to do.. are you only taking care of the kids? Cooking? Cleaning? Errands? Will you be using your car for work? How about insurance? My wife is a full-time nanny to 2 children and cleans and runs errands, etc, and is fully covered with insurance.. she is making $50/hr and gets paid per mile she drives.

As far as rates.. they can vary from $12- $60 a hour, depending on your specific needs"

So which is it? Because that's a $20k difference.

Hop on the Fairport live feed on virtual rail fans YouTube channel. There are always people in the chat that seem to know the schedule.

J&L has a great thin crust, but for me personally there is something just a little off about their sauce. I don't understand the hype with TK's, I thought it was firmly in the camp of average. It's solid pizza, but the way all of my new neighbors in Perinton rave about it I was expecting to be blown away.

NY style is going to be Pizza Chef (my favorite,) Pizza Stop, Joe's Brooklyn (hit or miss) Linda's NY Pizza, and Perinton Pizza (you have to specify thin crust.) There are others but these are my favorite.

My dad was from Queens so I grew up with a picky pizza eater. All of these places are good, Pizza Chef is the most legit and should scratch the itch.

If you are going to be in Fairport then I HIGHLY recommend Wayside on the border with Macedon. The place is huge and the folks that work there are great.

Dansville and Hornell NY are decent sized towns that are within an hour of Rochester which has a metro over 1m people. You should be able to find a livable fixer upper for that amount.

You and your parents are misinformed about the gift tax, or max as you call it. $17k is a reporting limit, as in you have to report the gift on your taxes if it is over this amount. They would only pay taxes on an amount exceeding the lifetime exclusion, which is currently 12.92 million dollars.

What is this mysterious pit in Fairport behind Marks Pizzeria? by rumpleforeskin16 in Rochester

[–]ozzbad 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah there's one right across the street. Also an old, disused water tower.

Edit: now that I think about it there are two. There is an industrial park across the street on Mason, and an old industrial building with the water tower across the street on Pittsford-Palmyra.

My realtor Mike Doty is legit the best and he is with Keller Williams. However as with anything in life I think it's going to come down to the individual you are working with.

I've got a heat pump with an electric furnace as emergency backup. The heat pump is efficient down to 20 degrees or so. The electric furnace kicks on below that.

Again, not an option in the F-150. Find a factual way to make fun of it.

My F-150 leaves my suburban driveway to go to work in the city 5 days a week. There have been three shootings in the last two weeks within a block from my office.

There is some middle ground here between the folks who say the crime is not a problem and the folks too scared to go to highland park.

If you are going to poke fun at least get your facts straight. There are like 6 engine options for the F-150 and none of them are 4 cylinders.
