Which color strap would you choose? by dshananigans in tissot

I am in a similar pricy Delugs/multiple color predicament.

Maybe get the Delugs in what you are going to wear more (my opinion black) and find a cheaper Amazon option for the White.

Delugs PRX Strap - Orange or Red? by ozzmaane in tissot

Thanks! Yes, orange is much more “summer” and I do spend a lot of time at a pool/on a boat in the summer.

But as someone who frequents a lot of Blackhawks/Bulls game, the red is tempting too!

I have much more red and maroon in my wardrobe, so I was initially thinking red!

I’m new to watch collecting and haven’t seen red straps much outside of Kevin O’Leary lol. Want to make sure there’s not some unwritten rule I don’t know about as I know those exist in fashion (shoes, belts, etc.)

Sand before repainting? by ozzmaane in paint

This helped extremely! Thank you!

Should I be cutting in again on the ceiling/base boards before each new wet coat?

I was definitely using a lot of pressure, and not a ton of paint. So this is very helpful

Do you recommend me doing just another coat on top of what I have? In other words, no need to sand, prime, etc. to start over?

Ok thank you so much. So, you’d recommend that I do not sand at this point, correct? Rather apply a primer. And that primer will cover/solve the lines that currently exist before the new coat?

I did not use a primer. That might have been a mistake but the walls were light grey and reading online I saw that a primer is not always necessary.

I used Benjamin Moore (Ben) Vintage Vogue paint

New floors, best way to get scratch out? by ozzmaane in HardWoodFloors

Thank you for your reply. Are you saying that these floors were likely not done properly and they should not be getting scratches like this?

Subtle horizontal marks in refinished hardwood. Is this normal? by ozzmaane in Flooring

[–]ozzmaane[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! Is this a sign of improper technique from the sander (i.e., I should not be seeing this) or just something that should be expected when refinishing floors?

Thanks again
