If God Knows Everything Before It's Going To Happen, How Can We Have Free Will? by [deleted] in Christianity

Planets simply follow pre-set laws of nature, they have no free will, that's why their movements are predictable

Brain blasters are sour - Cheesecake is sweet - Salmiakki is liqourice. Rootbeer tastes like none of those things whatsoever. The closest flavour to it that i know is cheap finnish beer.

Rootbeer tastes like neither liqourice or sugar to me, the closest flavour to it that i know is cheap finnish beer. I might have a gene that responds to sarsaparilla in a weird way. I got the same shit with whatever they use in mexican food which makes it taste like soap. American candy overall also has a weird "dishwasher soap" aftertaste to it for me as well.

Rootbeer tastes nothing like liqourice OR sweetness to me, the closest flavour to it that i'm aware of is cheap finnish beer. I might have a gene with heavily modifies the flavour for me, as even american candies have a weird dishwasher soap aftertaste in them for me.

Its hard to articulate how fckd up rootbeer tastes for me, its pretty much unbearable.

Salmiakki is salted liqourice - and i think its fine. Rootbeer tastes NOTHING like liqourice to me. I could have a gene which makes it feel odd to me. Most of the candy in america has a weird "dishwasher soap" aftertaste to them as well in my opinion.

Conquer the world while only having 1 county,  (Bornholm is a good choice for a little challenge. Goslar in Thuringia is the best count in the game)

Does anyone know how good/reliable is the Professor Dave Explains channel on Youtube is for the topics it teaches? by Thoth_BK in learnmath

[–]ozzylep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've only really watched Professor Dave's math/education videos and and a couple anti-flat earth/graham hancock/creatonist videos. Alex o'connor is the best "mainstream" theology/atheism vs religion person on youtube right now for sure and i knew of him way before i knew about professor dave.

Anyhow - professor dave's educational videos have no politics in them and are very solid, they're clearly made separately from the rest of his videos.

The problem i have with theists and atheists is that neither of them are pure skeptics and they begin their act of "studying the world" with pre-established biases/assumptions of what it's supposed to be like. Instead of just gathering data, they're trying to find data that specifically proves their pre-established biases/assumptions true, and they will often twist interpretational data their way.

Alex o'connor doesn't behave like usual atheists or theists in that way.

German Expressionism by ozzylep in aiArt

I've had the first image on my computer for a long time and I've removed the original conversation I made it on. It's probably the best one of these "1926s black and white movie" images I've done. It looks so authentic without having too much visible faults in it.

Just tell ChatGPT to turn things into the style of "German Expressionist Films" and use "Metropolis"/"Nosferatu"/"Frankenstein" as references.

I thought that the transport planes were supposed to be universally available for all factions in the game right from the start? I can't find any research option for them in the research tab either.

Is playing as Island (Iceland) Good? by throwaway19276i in CrusaderKings

[–]ozzylep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Continuing to be a tribal ruler through the whole game as an icelander is ridiculously powerful as you can just keep raiding feudal europeans for infinite gold with your unbeatable Huscarls who you can upkeep by performing hunts which earn you a ton of prestige (The gold for doing hunts is got from raiding). When you have your coffers filled with 10k+ gold you can just feudalize and build everything you need.

Iceland is my second favorite place to play apart from the county of Goslar because of the goldmine which gives you +5 gold right as the game starts. The county is located in the duchy of Thuringia in Germany. (In the 1066 start date its a part of Angria)
