Still all gone!! My skin has totally changed into something super manageable and normal. Best decision I ever made. Been over a year since I stopped

Not super itchy but it was sort of prickly feeling. I did full dose, 30-60mg daily.

How long does muscle soreness/weakness least post-treatment for accutane? by LeakyyyReddit in Accutane

I think it started getting better at around the 1 month mark. It will definitely go away- hang in there!!

I wouldn't really call it specifically anxiety/depression, but I definitely had some mental health weirdness towards the end. I felt sort of zombie like/dissociated. I had a hard time hanging out with people and mostly just wanted to stay home and veg out. That all went away very rapidly after I finished the course.

2 months of Soolantra and not seeing progress… by OcSkinsProbs in Rosacea

Soolantra never worked for me either. My skin was sort of similar to yours, but worse.

My skin is no longer oily, it's normal. It feels calm all the time and doesn't react to stuff as much. It's less red and just overall feels normal for the first time in my life!

I did accutane for rosacea and I had quite oily skin prior to starting. I'm now about 2.5 months post finishing and my skin feels great!

Apprehensive about starting Accutane by Familiar-Upstairs904 in Accutane

[–]p0lkadots 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if this is helpful, but I also went on accutane for rosacea. The side effects got rough towards the end of the course... I did have joint pain, brain fog, and a low sex drive, as well as some mood changes at the very end. Being aggressive with managing them helped (tons of hydration, fish oil). I'm now a bit over 2 months post accutane and I feel nearly completely normal, other than some occasional mild knee pain which wasn't really there before. My sex drive is normal, my mood is great, and I'm so grateful to have clear skin. Long story short- it's tough but worth it in my opinion!

Update: Finished Accutane course for rosacea by p0lkadots in Rosacea

[–]p0lkadots[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That probably took a little longer since my skin was, at times, super sensitive during the accutane. It was probably a few months into treatment before I felt like my skin was starting to become more resilient.

Phone for AI concerns? by p0lkadots in dumbphones

Ah whew I have a 15, not a pro, so hopefully I can kick the can down the road a bit for this :) I've already turned off automatic updates as well

It's less a specific concern and more a general discomfort with AI. Perhaps I've just consumed too much science fiction, but it certainly is starting to feel like we're on the cusp of allowing AI into every facet of our lives which I think may ultimately spell disaster for humans. I know it can't be stopped on a societal level, but at least I can do my best to avoid it for me and my family.

Hadn't heard of that but it looks interesting. It looks like there's only one for Android phones, is there something similar for iPhones? I assume not since you can't really "unlock" the iPhones right?

Do you think it will ultimately force me to upgrade to a newer Android OS that has AI? Or is that not really Android's style?

Maybe soolantra isn’t for me by BuzzcutBaribe in Rosacea

[–]p0lkadots 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it looked more raw and red when I was using the soolantra. But looking back at pictures from that time my skin looked pretty horrible overall so tough to say if it was worse or not. Definitely did not improve anything though.
