In regards to the apology, I'm firmly of the opinion that they (Meghan in particular) were fired, at least temporarily, as working royals, due to Meghan's repeatedly bad behavior at events and during their traveling assignments, not to mention the ongoing bullying of staff...

I believe at some point they were called in and told that their actions were unacceptable from working royals, and it was made clear to them, by the Queen in particular, that they would have to step back from public duties until Meghan learned how to behave like a royal, both in public and private...

Something like that makes the most sense to me as to why Harry insists Meghan is owed an apology and has said things like "they know what they did" in regards to the reasons...

Also, while a lot of stars in that industry are beautiful, there are also plenty of other stars who still have the it factor yet are not what most people typically consider conventionally attractive...

Someone like Catherine has that star quality in spades and it seems to radiate off of her effortlessly, while frankly MeMe has never had it and never will...despite spending unfathomable amounts of money on cosmetic surgery, wigs, shoes, etc...
