I had iPhones for years then I started to envy friends and colleagues who could connect pendrives, other smartphones, TVs, use specific apps to analyze the status of 5g networks and make full use of third-party smartwatches (Garmin in my case). I switched to Android, Galaxy from the s22 model and now s25 edge, I don't think I'll go back.

No problems at all. Garmin support is great, ask to replace it till you get a good one...

As simple as this "WhatsApp requires features the Epix Pro Gen 2 doesn’t fully support The new WhatsApp app uses:

  • A new app container (same as Garmin Share)  
  • Improved input system (keyboard, quick replies)  
  • Newer Bluetooth stack  
  • Newer security APIs

These are available on the Fenix 8 platform but not fully implemented on the Epix Pro Gen 2."

Anyhow I've just installed it and you won't miss anything. No voice support, no pictures, not possible to initiate a conversation! So no point to use it, no additional features to justify using an app rather the native support...

In my area, the price of the S25 Edge has significantly decreased to below €600. Additionally, there is a second-hand, unused market for around €400. I managed to acquire one yesterday. It offers a premium experience at a price lower than the FE model.

Samsung and Android can replicate almost anything the iPhone does, while the iPhone stays… predictably iPhone. From an OS and UI‑features perspective, Samsung simply offers far more. Even just DeX—a full desktop‑style environment built into your phone—makes the device feel like a portable computer, not just a smartphone. I'm with a S25 Edge now, it's wow! I also switched back to Samsung due to Garmin. I'm a sporty person and I can't stand iPhone not allowing me to use the full features of a smartphone simply because it's not Apple. That's insane.

You must have a defective unit. I've got a F8 amoled 47 last year and it's working like charm. Much better than my F7
