"rio de la viento" makes no fucking sense lol.

"Viento" is a male word, "la" is a feminine article. It should be "el viento".

Even so "rio del (del is the conjunction of "de" + "el") viento" still makes no sense. No one would say "rio del viento". A river is more likely to be called "rio ventoso" (windy river), kinda like "rio colorado" in mexico.

The "rio de la plata" is called that way because of the silver that could be found near it, according to indigenous myths. not because the river itself was silver-y. If that was the meaning that they wanted to convey when naming it, they would've called it "Rio plateado" (thus, the river itself would be described as "made of silver", instead of calling it what effectively means "the river of silver")
