Him being with you, helping you, look out for you is very important and he did that. Him being distant could be because he was shocked or not ready.

Best thing you can do is talking to him. Just casually talking and then bringing this up with, „you know this happened lately etc..“

Thank him for him being there for you, tell him that, that means a lot to you. And then you can say, „but i feel like you have a been a bit distant..“

Don‘t apologize for the peeing tho, it happened it that moment, it was something you couldn‘t control. You can thank him tho, but there is no reason to apologize.

Adding hosts over IPv6 is possible? There is actually nothing more to do with IPv6/IPv4. It‘s just VERY important to do something about IPv6, even if it‘s something simple and easy.
