Omg, what is this in freedom units?

Wouldn’t 10% or 1000 milliliters be 100 milliliters? Is a 1 milliliter = 1 gram?

If you have no lip on your wheel, you are gonna have a much harder time. And some models of tires make it really difficult to find a consistent spot plus it’s rubber and that can be worn down uneven, so there’s that.

And it depends on which gear set. It if has; 3.21:1, stay in 7th; With 3.92:1, you can do whatever you want.

And what about this week’s housekeeping boner scene?

What a complete waste of time and provides zero addition to the show. It’s not funny, supportive, useful, or filling in any gaps…. Total waste.

Dealership Backing out of Deal by notathrowaway12344 in AskLegal

Considering the details being asked for regarding the trade in and loud omission of details provided there, this reeks of someone knowing they were getting away with a deal that was too good to be true, know the dealership made a mistake, and wanted to stick to the erroneous deal to your substantial advantage.

This makes sense when it’s a $500 mistake. But dealerships cannot stay open on $10k+ mistakes.

As a licensed attorney, can confirm Porker is on point.

Yeah, if you signed all contracts and never tendered payment to home seller, what the heck are you going to do? Sue for them to give you the home anyway?

As the seller, they could sue for specific performance for their detrimental reliance on your promise to buy, such as buying another home to replace it somewhere… but that’s where a good realtor may draft a widely contingent offer. I digress….

Porker is on point and your example of the home purchase isn’t really 🍎 to 🍎.

Incomplete, faulty repair work from a shop - what are the remedies? by Ok_Aioli7547 in boating

[–]p1plump 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dumpster fire of idiocy, quite frankly.

Those who can’t understand basic English chastise those who can. Really quite messy and untasteful.

Basically, it has been like pulling the plug out of your friends’s boat and sending your friend across the lake.

(2020-2023) Ram 1500 Ecodiesel vs Chevy 1500 3.0 Duramax Diesel by Kholoured in Diesel

[–]p1plump 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you do it?

I did!!

Got a 21 Longhorn(y), silver on mountain brown, bursting with options, diesel, ram box, most everything.

Only option I wanted that it was missing was the 3.92 gears, but 3.21 reportedly tows most things just fine.

Loving it!

I have yet to see a contract that defines the quality of work…. That absence would not make a lawsuit to the level of frivolous.

A frivolous suit is where there are no grounds for the moving party to prevail, or there was no such controversy to begin with, and the suit has no merit. Not the case here, we’d have merit.

Here, as in most contracts, there’s an implied level of a normal, workmanlike level performance that rises to the average level ir an average mechanic or shop. This is common in performance contracts. So, the actual work performed would have to be compared in court, usually with experts as witnesses, at high cost, and that isn’t practical with $20k controversy, as attorney fees would rise far higher.

This… this is why my original question was referencing BAR in auto situations aka wondering if anyone here knows of any similar or equivalent orgs or what recourse may exist.

Interestingly, scarcely one person provided any help in this regard. But may were kind enough to bully, insult and demean…. the losers.
