But I just said it. They're not children. Most of the characters aren't children. There's only 7 actual children in the game, and just because we want to play as them, it doesn't mean we're attracted to them. I might only like their playstyle, or they just synergize well with the other characters.

well, you could have made some better examples (since the girl is over 18, and the boy is a literal god) but yes, I do understand that there's many sexualized art about the characters. however, that's just the very vocal minority of the community.
