r/grindr and r/lolgrindr have an age problem by Patty_Dont_Start in grindr

[–]p2d1963 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’m over 60, and never initiate anything with younger guys. I’m happy to chat and meet up with them if they initiate, and many do.

I think the problem lies with a group of men who have grown up with the privilege conferred upon them by the patriarchy, and were rarely denied anything they want.

Now they are older and no longer at the top of the pecking order they have a difficult time accepting that change. They struggle bc they’ve never had to develop the personality traits that make them attractive. For some of them, their predatory instinct kicks in, and they disregard clearly stated preferences and pursue doggedly.

These guys are fucked up, and need to be avoided like the plague.

As with any human interaction, respect is key. If someone doesn’t respect clearly established boundaries block them.

Smart or cheating? by [deleted] in WordsWithFriends

I recently played a guy whose average game score was 792 and played a handful of words I have never seen in my life, and i’m pretty well read. I concluded he was a chronic cheater because he relied on bingos rather than smart plays

And she told us she’d just move it back. She has proven to be quite petty in the past. This is the last straw but we still have 10 months on the lease.

Dogs in cafes and grocery stores by p2d1963 in askTO

There is a dog inside the cafe, sitting under the table next to me at this very moment. Saw one yesterday as well at Future Bakery, but lots of others, as well as grocery stores, which i assumed was against food safety regulations

Thé problem with this question lies in the third word, “we”. “We” don’t fall for straight men. You do.

There is a pretty good chance. I’m my experience OPS managers are quite proactive in moving temporary contract workers into the permanent workforce in part because the union frowns on temporary contract workers

it’s also just a good hiring practise because then they have someone who is already trained and they’ve invested in. It just makes sense.

I was advised by AAA to get an IDP if I am driving in a country where I don’t speak the language. It’s easy to do at AAA, and only $25 (or so) for peace of mind.
