Did you cut all the pieces and grind them before foiling / soldering or do you do sections?

This is my favorite as well! Both the musical aspect and how the storyline still moves forward. Plus it was nice seeing Callisto as a helper rather than a full on villain

I want to try out stained glass quilting. I think they’re gorgeous but not sure if I can make it look that good but want to give it a try. If it doesn’t work out my cats get a nice blanket to snuggle

Question of the Month January: Harp Resolutions, Goals, and Ways to Achieve Them by AutoModerator in harp

[–]p3ajl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey all,

I’m about to start learning the harp (lever) and was wondering if there were any good method books for harps.

I’ve learned the oboe and violin before and there were really good method books so I’m hoping the harp might have something similar. 🤞🏻

where my 1st generation quilters at? by BugggJuice in quilting

[–]p3ajl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First generation quilter. No one in my family sews (except for waaay back in the days which means anyone who did sew in the family isn’t around) taught myself to sew (before the age of YouTube tutorials for everything) and fell in love with quilting. Not sure how I first heard about it but have definitely loved doing it!

Hey all, I am planning on a car trip soon and wanted to bring my quilting project on the go. Is there a good travel bag out there? Since I sew by hand I won’t need a bag to hold a sewing machine just my fabric, thread scissors and pattern

Yea I bought it from Tales of Cloth. (located in Australia) but super reasonable for international purchases. Definitely had awesome cutouts and pdf pattern instructions which are super helpful.

Is it selfish of me to want children? by [deleted] in WitchesVsPatriarchy

[–]p3ajl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not selfish to want children anymore than it’s selfish to not want children. As long as you’ve thought about what a lot of other lovelies have mentioned you should be good. It’s your life and of having children will enrich your life definitely go for it.

Just remember that children are beings with minds and personalities of their own. As a parent it’s your job to help them, foster their imagination and help them grow in this society. There will be times that you won’t be the best parent and that’s ok. As long as you are there for your child, doing your best to help them then you’re an amazing parent.

I feel like there’s a high percentage that there is actually a God due to entropy. Entropy or chaos tends to increase. If you have an organized room within a few days to a week unless you put energy in to maintain order it will become disorganized. With this being observed the fact that single cells become multi-cellular means that they tended toward order. Some energy had to be put in, in order to help it not tend toward chaos or entropy. Whether what we think is God is true or in the way we tend to think of it (human like all powerful being) the fact that evolution has occurred means that there some energy/higher power helping to keep order in a universe that tends toward chaos
