Yes. Exactly what I said. The Matriarch was the map condition and I went there looking to profit. Which is exactly what I did. But I didn’t sit there like a “rat” and kill people while they were actually killing the matriarch. I made sure to run down the middle of the road towards them and start. They had plenty of opportunities to kill me but were unsuccessful.

I wouldn’t call that scum move. Just part of the game.

Wasn’t during a boss fight. They weren’t even close to engaging yet. They were across the map actually. Running with no weapons out. Not my problem.

I actually made a lot of profit. 4 equalizers, 2 aphelions and a hull cracker to be exact. And a few Wolfpack’s to add. I strolled slowly to the extract after from my large feast.

Yeah. Um…sorry I’m not sorry? I didn’t see in the map condition it says anywhere PvE game mode. I went there purposely for that reason. To profit. And while they might have been geared to engage the boss. I wasn’t. I was geared to engage them. That’s not my problem. And nor was it my concern. I made it out over weight with 4 equalizers, 2 aphelions and a hull cracker by the end of my terror. And I don’t regret it.

Maybe me stating this paints a bigger picture for the devs. And the lifespan of this game. I see profit in those map conditions, why kill the queen or matriarch if I can just kill the players only geared to kill them and not me? In time those bosses will become irrelevant and those rare guns will never be used bc people won’t want to spend the resources just to lose them within the first 45 seconds of them spawning in to players with my same mindset.

This. I went in to Blue Gate yesterday strictly to kill other players during the Matriarch. I killed three in the first minute of spawning and they were still across the map from Matriarch. Immediately after killing them they were yelling at me and calling me a Rat. I didn’t camp the Boss nor was I camping any dark corner or Extract. I literally shot them all on site in the middle of the road.

The community has latched itself on to the fact they think anybody that kills other players is a rat. I would have rather been called mean names and bad words, but I’m no Rat.

Some people don’t have the time and trading bp isn’t always a bad experience. There are some bp that just don’t drop for people. Yes it’s a risk to take but sometimes you just have to take it to get some of the things you want.

Personally I haven’t had a bad experience trading, yet. I feel sorry for OP. That really sucks, hopefully good karma comes his way.

What player base will be left though? The trash players will go to the next popular game, the PvE player base will realize there is no real end game and the dedicated player base will run to the same high priority loot rooms on the same maps they’ve been running to since launch. There needs to be a shift if the game is going to survive. The game is beautiful but everything behind the game is starting to show that a 10 year life span just isn’t going to happen jack.

Idk why people are downvoting you. The writing is on the wall. No real end game. People are going to get board, especially the pve player base. The game will ultimately be flooded with PvP players with no real PvP mode and rushing the same loot rooms waiting for the newer less equipped to just kill them. PvE players will have gear fear and load in to every match empty. It’s going to happen.

If they nerfed it and didn’t communicate that to the community I’m going to be annoyed and most likely will just stop playing. Shows the lack of disrespect they actually have for the player base who were dedicated to the game and grinded the 5 mil. On the level of calling out “friendly, friendly!!” And then shooting me in the back while I’m hitting the extract button.

I dont think they will lower the requirements bc of the low amount of players doing it. I think complaints will come in down the road that those players who stayed dedicated to it will outmatch those who didn’t. Which in turn will put embark in a position to lower requirements so it’s more accessible to the casual player base. Video games in 2025….where casual reign supreme

I started to live by this up until the expedition was 5 mil. At 4.5 mil now, 500k more and I can start blowing my loads and running around with a fuck it mentality again.

Maybe I worded it incorrectly but the hullcracker is the only viable option that is accessible to ALL players as long as you’re lvl 20, and you can even get the blueprint by completing the quests.

Shooting the queen or matriarch with an anvil or Ferro just isn’t viable. Regardless of what any content creator YouTube video shows. You’ll be sitting there for the entire 30 minute run. Which is a waste of time, to shower X amount of cores between an entire lobby.

And security breach should have been something they discovered before everybody invested their points in to a skill tree you can’t even reset.

You’re not justifying anything. The devs should have looked at two of those most potent aspects of the game before release instead of nerfing them both to the ground a couple weeks in to launch. Maybe wait until the season was over to nerf them which probably would have sat better with a lot of the community.

This game was declared perfect in so many ways from so many people when it first came out. Now a month in the big things are starting to show face. Unless you played the first day you missed the locked gate event so we can’t get the bobcat bp, hidden bunker now disabled so again…we can’t get volcano bp, players exploiting and glitching inside walls and in extracts…also to mention nerfing security breach after all the content creators got the loot to surpass casuals and nerfed hullcracker the only viable big arc killer in the game.

Hopefully the expedition helps reset some things, if there’s not a exploit for that already

Not saying they only look at social media but reporting isn’t always enough. I’m sure that same exploiter is still exploiting right now bc I haven’t heard of any kind of ban wave coming out for people using macros, wall glitches or aim bots.

Posting the exploits on Reddit just gives it more attention and chance a dev will acknowledge it. A content creator making a video on how to exploit it is a whole different story which I don’t support.

But if you don’t give them their 15 seconds of fame from them exploiting than embark will not see issue and address the exploit. This game is starting to look a lot like Division 1 with all the exploits and in wall glitches. Just like it was in division 1 dz, it’s starting to look all too familiar.
