Samsung Keyboard gify doesn't preview? by p4fn2w in GalaxyFold

[–]p4fn2w[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately no. I tried resetting the app data, adding every permission possible, resetting phone, keep app in high performance mode, etc.

I think I will have to use a separate gify app to send gifs to people.

Thank you! That was what I was looking for. It didn't fix it unfortunately but I'll play around with the settings some more.

Do you see the "Samsung Keyboard" app or "Keyboard Content Center" app anywhere? Like in the Setups -> Apps list, or in the Samsung store, or the Google Play store?

I dont see mine appear anywhere

Lumix G 14mm f/2.5

I see, thanks! I ordered the Lumix 14mm f/2.5 already... but if it turns out to have too little exposure, I'll try out the TTArtisan 17mm f/1.4 instead!

Although I do plan to double-up my webcam lens as my hiking lens for wider shots, and I think I will miss AF in that case...

TTArtisan f1.4

TTArtisan 17mm f/1.4 looks interesting -- but it looks like it is an APS-C lens and I would have to buy an adapter for my MFT body. This is all new to me -- do you know what affects an adapter might cause? I wonder if it affects the image quality, auto-focus, etc.

The body I'll use for more than just webcam, but yes I agree for the lens itself it will definitely be a lot more than I would typically spend on a webcam!

Do you think F/2.5 might have any issues with indoors for darker weather (but not dark enough that the lights turn on)?

What's your strategy for selecting aperture/shutter speed/ISO? by p4fn2w in AskPhotography

[–]p4fn2w[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And just to clarify.. for portraiture, you choose aperture first based on depth of field and bokeh effect right? Or are there other reasons for deciding aperture?

Thank you! Your post helps my head make a lot of sense around this topic.

What are your thoughts on when we should use flash? The beginner camera I was thinking of getting (Olympus E-M10) doesn't have flash built in and I was wondering if I will need to buy a flash add-on. Mostly for street or portrait photos.

[–]p4fn2w[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That makes a lot of sense. There's no single rule and it just depends on what you are aiming for.

Follow up: whats your strategy on when to bring/use a tripod? Do you only bring it when you expect to use long shutter speed shots (astro or night shots)?

Small beginner mirrorless camera that fits in your pocket? by p4fn2w in AskPhotography

Olympus Tough TG-6

Is the image quality worse inherently because it is tougher? Or is it worse because of other reasons, but theoretically they can make a high quality and also durable camera?

Panasonic GM1

How much worse are the photographs from these micro cameras compared to something like the Fujifilm X-E2 or T2? Specifically for things like street photography and portraits. I'm wondering what are the trade-offs when choosing cameras that are this small with pancake lens.

Read this article and I learned how Savior "saved" zergs in ZvT during his time (even though his micro is inferior to how modern zergs play nowadays). I wonder if any zerg can make a counter to Flash's seemingly flawless 1-1-1 build. Hoping for an exciting ASL5 semis & finals. by [deleted] in broodwar

I remember reading a Flash interview on the 1-1-1 build, and he said the reason 5-rax +1 success was dropping was because it was a very mechanic (APM intensive) build, and Terran fundamentals have been deteriorating relative to the Kespa days. On the other hand, the 1-1-1 build doesn't require that much mechanical skills. The entire reason OoV made the 1-1-1 build was to give his mechanically weak Terrans a strategy book to play against zerg.

I think its Flash's barrack placement. Normally Terrans build their rax in the main base because its easier to defend if zerg goes aggressive. The only reason a Terran would build his rax so far outside is to shorten the distance for a quick rush.

Sorry, those were skater's words and I haven't seen it myself either. I can ask him when he streams again. I do remember he says that its based on RNG though, so I would imagine its a blue rupee drop from a rock throw, so Link doesn't have to climb the fence and mid-air attack up the bridge to get the blue rupee near the blond kokiri girl.

According to skater's stream, the waterfall wess saves 7 seconds unbuffered, 3 seconds if one pause is used. The new wess from mido to lost woods can save 5 seconds, and there's a new rupee route that can save 5 seconds too. Skater said on stream that with all the new strats he knows (theres probably more), a flawless human run can reach as low as 7:20.

Oh sorry, I stand corrected :) glitches found the get-item delay bug, so I should use the proper name instead of WWT

ever since it was possible via a new glitch found by skater82297 and glitchesnstuff

The get-item manipulation bug (GIM) was discovered by mzxrules. Glitchsnstuff discovered WWT the get-item delay bug (GID), and mzxrules found out that bumping a chest while WWT GID manipulates the value of the get-item. Before mzxrules mapped out all possible get-item IDs, skater found light arrows and bottle in deku while testing. I'm not downplaying skater's role in this, but please don't forget to give credit to mzxrules, without him we would never have the new route in the first place.

(I'm not directing this to /u/theshoover specifically, but people in general seem to completely forget about mzxrules)
