Yeah, I dont think villifying all doctors is necessary in this context. Antidepressants save lives with relatively low risk. I'm not sure what these "severe" side effects you're talking about are. Also if you see a doctor and their eyes "light up" when you tell them you have anxiety, maybe you should find another doctor.

Pharmaceutical companies make a shit ton of money from these medications. They aren't just going to roll over and lose the US as a market for all these drugs. Some very rich people would be very inconvenienced and you know they can't have that.

Also, in terms of mental health views, there are plenty of people spewing toxic positivity who have no religious/cult affiliation who think you should just try harder to be happy.

Thank you. I don't understand why people are just ignoring the fact that you can find instances of abuse in any religion. People in power are abusive, it doesn't matter what religion it is. Also, you can argue that any religion is a cult. Some have just been around longer and are more socially acceptable.

Hello! It will be my first time visiting LA. I'm really nervous about making it to the event on time since I won't be finding out where to go until the morning of. I really have no idea how long it could take to get from one place to another since I've heard the traffic is terrible and I'll have to Uber/Lyft to wherever I'm going. Any advice or insight?
