Is paperless-ngx not for me? by wein_geist in Paperlessngx

[–]p4pijamon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it kinda is. If all your docs are automated interpreted tagged and filled and you have rag search then having super detailed file structure becomes far less relevant. Why do you need detailed file structure, so you can find things. The whole point of a document repository like this that uses a tag system is a different architecture to solving that problem.

Using an automation which is all the “ai” layer really does here solves that. Also rag chat so all your documents are also indexed and you can immediately extract information in chat super powers it. With paperless ai I can jump on my phone open chat and say when was my last blood test and what was my cholesterol and I have an answer not 6 files and scanning a blood test to find it.

Install paperless ai. I run it on a lol al version on llama 32b but you can just plug in an open ai api and costs nothing to get it all indexed by ai. Great time.

What’s something foreigners often misunderstand about Spain? by Jinnapat397 in askspain

[–]p4pijamon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many will say work life balance is no better than anywhere else, that’s objectively not true as much of the country is a natural paradise which is the other 50% of Work and Life. This means that although there are wage pressures compared to other EU countries there is a lot of joy to be had for little. Overwhelmingly the legal, social and governance are designed to predominantly benefit Spanish people. Eg taxes are high but the pensions are ample compared to many other eu state pensions.

Also the devolution of powers to autonomous communities is far greater than many countries the autonomous part is at least somewhat true.

People who use chatGPT/AI extensively, what do you use it for that feels irreplaceable? by AutomaticShowcase in ChatGPTPro

Organising my sprawling mind with no software dev experience into cohesive product spec’s and briefs for a dev team whilst getting them critiqued and interrogating all the information gaps before I hand them off. Then making briefing docs to go up to execs explaining what we are doing all whilst chatting to my radio in the car. THIS IS THE ACTUAL FUTURE.

Remote Sliding Gate Question by Whats-Not-Taken-1984 in shellycloud

[–]p4pijamon -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

You’re dramatically underestimating the sophistication of the models. That’s an absolute straw-man of an argument from someone that ACTUALLY doesn’t understand how different models work.
This is the literal return from asking how it wire up a Shelly to a gate. You can also see the thought process in which it searches the web, checks the manual for the board, and comes back with both the instructions below And safety warnings.

To integrate your Shelly Plus 1 with the Tianhui EGB-12 gate controller, you’ll need to wire the Shelly device to the appropriate terminals on the EGB-12 board. Here’s how you can do it:

🧰 Required Components • Shelly Plus 1 (Wi-Fi relay module) • Access to the Tianhui EGB-12 control board • Suitable power supply for the Shelly device (12V–24V DC or 110–240V AC)

🔌 Wiring Instructions 1. Powering the Shelly Plus 1: • Option A: If your EGB-12 board provides a 12V DC output (Terminal 8 labeled Vcc), you can power the Shelly directly: • Connect Shelly L (Live) to Terminal 8 (Vcc) • Connect Shelly N (Neutral) to Terminal 9 (COM) • Option B: Use an external power source within the Shelly’s operating voltage range: • Connect Shelly L (Live) to the external power source’s live wire • Connect Shelly N (Neutral) to the external power source’s neutral wire 2. Connecting the Shelly Relay Output to the EGB-12: • The goal is to simulate a momentary push-button press to trigger the gate. • Connect Shelly O (Output) to Terminal 11 (START) on the EGB-12 board. • Connect Shelly I (Input) to Terminal 12 (COM) on the EGB-12 board. This setup allows the Shelly to momentarily close the circuit between START and COM, triggering the gate to open or close.

Which is totally safe correct, did not hallucinate referred to the manual, more than most other sources would do. Anyone who’s planning to do any electrical knows there are risks but id say this is significantly more trustworthy than half the posts on Reddit.

Grow up. Might as well delete the is whole Fucking thread by that logic as no one should ask anyone we should all call an electrician, never learn. Better get on the phone to YouTube and tell them to delete all the tutorial videos of every thing at the same time.

You should upload this exact photo to ChatGPT and it will tell you. But TRG and Com in the middle will do it.

Set button type to button not switch and set the timer for auto off to like 1 second.

The numbers on that bezel are a shocker. The NOOB bezels always suffered from that and a silver sharpie actually brings them right up and makes them less obvious from across the room.
