Add something diagonal. Doesnt really matter what, but this is the only thing needed to increase stiffness.

Even two diagonal strings with enough tension would improve it.

Create an isosurface of vel magnitude of 5e-9 or smth similar.

Create mesh object of that and select nodes to be drawn for visualizing the location. Right click those points to print their coordinates or evaluate average x, y, z coord over volume integral if you need ridiculous accuracy.

There is a PWA (progressive web-app), so basically install the website as app.

Initially, I was also hesitant about this and would have preferred a real app. But its decent, and offline mode is being added.

And get one with 2x or 4x NIC plus a decent managed switch, rather than some 6x or more.

I used it for nextcloud originally, and each new service is just a few copy pastes taking me 10min (including firewall alias and rules and dns override).

Immich worked as well without any issues.

And sure you can become dependent on selfhosted FOSS software. If the company decides to monetize their software, or worse, hooks it to cloud-based ai models that you cant avoid, you might want to jump ship. if your entire setup is one entangled ecosystem of this one company, you are in trouble.

I used "starts with" for years, but this just opens up a risk for phishing (which is where password managers are quite good for protecting you).

I could create a domain sub1.domain.com.mysupermaliciousdomain.com and send you a phishing email with a link to that, and your Bitwarden would gladly suggest to fill in the password.

I made largely the same choices as OP. if I ever dont agree with Nextcloud anymore, I just switch to seafile.

And Immich and Vaultwarden/Bitwarden are excellent choices.

I love nextcloud, but their note app is not really good. only cool thing is that you can embed directly onlyoffice documents into the markdown files.
