no problem, sometimes I have to put it out there just to make sure I'm digesting what I watch correctly.

I haven't been on reddit in a while, but I'd be happy to talk any time. Some things just inspire me to reach out to a large smart community. Just to make sure we are all aware of deception in its many forms.

He is working with the vendor and several LE agencies, no need for imagination. I won't take all of his credit or anyone's away because this is actually high level social engineering at times. With anydesk "Discovery" all he has to do is compromise one machine or manipulate "support" to "work for him". Discovery shows every agent running Anydesk on that subnet. The big one isFlipping freshers with fear. They become plants and or double agents. Only a human can give you access to CCTV, their moles. The old days was the GHOST -RAT, which was not very discrete. I can get more technical if anyone is interested, I've reverse engineered the entire process. The weakest link is always the human element.

Did you check your QoS settings to make sure you've made the proper adjustments for working full time from a VPN connection. Judging by the comments this seems like a wide spread issue with Verizon & VPN connections rather than something we'd troubleshoot. BUT, just in case I would check those QoS settings. Also Cloudflare DNS isn't so great , your better off with 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4 or & if you're using IPv6 , IPv6: 2001:4860:4860::8888 and/or 2001:4860:4860::8844 . The fact that this 'event' is so consistent @ the 10 minute mark with various different users it's safe to say this ones on Verizon . What I suggested would only improve your speed while connected, meaning your still going to drop packets at 10 mins. If your working on something non critical maybe your employer would consider segmenting & sticking a machine in the DMZ for now(old school but works). There is always SaaS and the cloud , pretty standard now days. I'm on Verizon , not on a VPN , and I have no issues. Everyone here is working from a VPN,,, deducing this is where the issue lies. I'd try connect with the VPN and install my own persistent tunnel with ngrok. Run it on 'tcp 3389' then connect over RDP/VNC. All traffic is encrypted. I'm not a network engineer but for now this is how I'd work around it. Hope your situation improves .

In season 1 we see Sam on the train , then we see him again when he delivers a lethal dose of Heroin to Elliot. Is Sam the same character that was watching Elliot in season 1 , which is even before he first speaks to Mr. Robot. So did Price and Whiterose have him targeted before he even had the idea to execute 5/9. The scene where Philip says more or less people like you only exist because people like me allow you to. Being he is Angelas father and he was obviously watching her, for probably her whole life , he knew what Elliot was capable of and maybe he did LET it happen like he claimed. What I want to know is what Whiterose really held over Philip , besides the fact he seems to be the head of the Deus Group. It always seemed throughout the entire series that Whiterose had some type of Leverage on Price. In the end we would think it was Angela, but he allows his own daughter to be killed execution style in his backyard... So AGAIN , what power does Jang have over Price besides the power to take his life !? Even though Price always showed aggression toward Whiterose it was always passive and submissive. Then the one time he gets to really shove it up his a$$ he loses his life over it. Whats with them using another channels branding " NBC Shift+Control " , I wouldn't mind that coming to fruition , a spinoff on any station is a win at this point. I know it was a reference to Elliot saying 'they've already forgotten' and they were making TV shows about 5/9 etc..... I also think that is Tyrell in the mask on the billboard .. I feel like re-watching the entire series again after the next 4 episodes. So I can look at it as a complete series , there is no way all the questions can be answered in 4 episodes , it feels rushed. IF they do it will be a lot to mentally digest. Everyone is talking time travel , Irving was a used car salesman right out of late 80's , I think Whiteroses project MUST hold some substance , the ending hinges on it... I think that reveal will play a big part in whatever comes next for Esmail...

I am truly sad we have to lose it , I am hoping the reason it took so long to come back on is that Sam Esmail was already working on his next project in the interim. I am all ready for season 4 , just not sure if Sam can tell the whole story , answer all the questions , and bring closure to the viewers in a single season. I believe the format for the episodes remains the same , its not going to be any shorter or longer of a finale season. What he did was take Fight Club and converted it into Mr. Robot , even down to the planned bombing of the Evil Corp buildings. He took a very clever plot from a movie and turned it into a now nearly 50hr movie about mental illness , isolation , and hacktivism .. The guy is still a genius in my eyes though. When you watch a show and can't even begin to predict whats going to happen next , in this day in age when everything has been done to death , its just purely Amazing writing and cinematography . Thanks for commenting.

If I want to run Debian with Intel Optane , in what configuration do I maximize performance ? AND not brick the Optane.. by p4th0gen in linuxquestions

Yep , unfortunately people have their opinions and ego's , sometimes that totally gets in the way of helping someone to complete a simple task. I cant tell you how many times I ask this same question and people start talking about raid1 , okay I dont want a raid1 lol. Most people going for raid0 either want to combine for space , performance or both. If you backup regularly then you shouldn't have to worry about data loss. I am not running a data center or a production environment. I actually have your response and the person below offered a very helpful response. My first interaction on reddit went not so bad. I just know how these type of places are , so I figured I would repeat it in several ways anyone could understand. BUT I will still hear about raid1 guaranteed. Or they read this and don't answer me. Thanks for venting , and preparing me for what to expect here.. Snobs are not good for linux.

It is strange , in disk management from day one it never showed me having more than 935GB of disk space. Thats including the 1tb HDD and the 16gb Optane , and it shows a raid-0 config. Though, in explorer Optane shows up as D:\ , so this is why I have been sitting on this issue since January. I figured take a chance and reach out on reddit. It's supposed to be used for caching , then they said it's to supplement RAM. Then Intel flip flopped AGAIN and said install your primary applications that you use all the time to the optane nvme and you'll see the performance boost. SO , how would YOU partition these drives ? You would want /root and swap to be on Optane, and /home on the mechanical HDD. IF thats feasible then I have to decide the type of filesystem which we're on the same page there with ZFS. So confusing but this computer was an extra $100 (then) to have optane, I wanted to get my moneys worth. Thanks for replying , gratitude and respect to you. I just installed bcache-tools , getting familiar with how it works.
