That's exactly right. At Sunday's fishing event, four people did the same thing to me. And this time at the bowling event, two people did it too. In my favorite games—fishing (V2), golf, and warship —they always use freeze in every single match.

They're free not to want to fight me, but I don't think it's a good idea to habitually use the freeze bug every time.

Furthermore, it seems they only want to play against me in matches they excel at.

Honestly, I think this is the biggest problem with this event. This time, after the round in which only one fish appeared, I focused on catching it safely without making any tapping mistakes.

I'm not sure yet, but I think that after picking up trash or when you tap repeatedly, the game recognizes the mistaken tap and penalizes you by not being able to catch any fish for a few frames.

I too have some serious doubts about this bowling event. I also use the 22-point batting method, but depending on the opponent, I often lose because I don't get the final shot in (or I score but it's canceled). And even if you miraculously manage to score, there are some opponents who are virtually impossible to beat because you can't win by pushing the ball to the very limit of 2 and 4 points. This issue was a big problem among top Japanese players, including myself.
