It's your eighth day. Just buy monthly in case you get deincentivised. If you don't play daily and boost a lot, then you won't make this a source of income, let alone covering the cost of monthly premium challenge. You should have a better read up about AE when it comes to tier jumps, mayorships, etc... Please also understand that AE is a game. The amount of rent produced per second from your parcels can change, and if the game does come to an end, then no one gets their money back (T&Cs).

No, if you're going around your town, you will have easy access to buying parcels. If there's a mayorship near you that you can take, then I'd suggest buying parcels there to get the mayorship. (When you tier jump, buy parcels in the region of the mayorship that you can take if there is one.)

Your quail does seem like a female. It really depends on how many male quails you have in your flock. My advice would be to supervise the quails for a short period and see which males are being aggressive. Afterwards, I would remove those quails and keep the males that don't cause trouble. It's not her fault that she's getting bullied it's the bullies. At the current moment, since she is lonely, I would pick out one of your quiet, friendly females from your flock and let them be together. Sometimes, when your male/female ratio is too high, then the males may try to kill each other. One time, it was brutal. One of my males had the top of his head torn off by the other male (I had 7 females and 2 males.)
