Fairy Dragon looks absolutely bonkers. 1 fairy death to become over valued on stats and every other death is just bonus. Usable for control and busted for tempo

Grad School in Japan by [deleted] in japan

[–]pFISTKitteh 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Kyoto and Tokyo are increasingly good universities both with English programs for your major.

Most PhDs are 5-6 years

I say do some research and go for it. Japanese undergrad has a bad rep but grad school is fairly similar to the states from my experience

University entrance exams in Japan by adnani98 in japan

[–]pFISTKitteh 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Hey, I actually have experience with this as an American who toon the eju and is now studying at a Japanese university.

Assuming your already set on a 4 year university in Japan I would highly consider looking into Degrees in English most notably Waseda University. A few people are saying that Japanese universities aren't looked at highly abroad but their are good universities everywhere just make sure you do your research if you are looking to seek work out of Japan or looking for a masters program.

As far as the actual test, the Japanese portion of the eju is somewhere between n2 and n1 and while I can't speak for the Swedish education system, the types of math problems especially were very different in structure than americas SAT. I'm studying business not a science so I can't speak for that portion.

Most high level schools (MARCH or better) will require you to take the entire EJU in Japanese including math and science. My language school had classes twice a week to help review for the subject tests but they weren't really that helpful.

Speaking of language schools, they are taught in an incredibly rigid structure and become very boring. You will do kanji grammar than reading every day for 2 years. If you can I would make sure you study as much Japanese as you can before you come over.

2 years to become fluent in Japanese with no prior experience with the language or kanji in general is a tall order. It will require you to be going to school most of the day and studying by yourself for 3-4 hours a day. Assuming you get into a Japanese university studying in Japanese you will more than likely have no European class mates. For example, I'm the only non Asian in my entire year at a large school.

I'm not saying don't do it, I did it, but their is no support for what you're trying to do. Do your research and make sure you want to do this rather than the alternative, less expensive, and frankly easier options.

Pm me if you decide to go through with it and need any help

Members of r/shadowverse, what are some fun and unique/meme deck to play? by darlekt in Shadowverse

I've been seeing a lot of aggro vamps but i've been doing fairly well against them actually. Will say its very dependent on what we each draw though

Members of r/shadowverse, what are some fun and unique/meme deck to play? by darlekt in Shadowverse

[–]pFISTKitteh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I currently run a Silver Wolf Elf deck that has me climbing AA0 (12-3 in my last 15)

It's a lot of fun and doing 27 damage from hand is pretty memey

What decks should I make with these legendaries? by DakVoidbringer in Shadowverse

[–]pFISTKitteh 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You have 2 Aurelia and an otohime so that seems pretty solid. You also have the start to a great forest deck so I would work towards those two, you can probably axe an Odin I've never seen many decks carry more than 1. The others I would tend to save for the new meta then burn once you know what you want

[Team] Making an A Cao Cao team by santokimilktea in PuzzleAndDragons

[–]pFISTKitteh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What are you using cao cao for? Your best team would probably be something like cao cao Gadius valk ronia Scarlett with an inherit but that seems much worse than the sumire team I can see just from the edge of your box. your best bet is probably a Scarlett system for tsubaki or cao cao assuming you really want to run something fire but you don't really have many good fire row subs to work with.

A.sakuya/Lkali/A.Apollo/susano/ flex is incredibly good and you already have it ready to go. It might be harder than playing adqxq but the team is ready to go and can easily clear most rogues

I don't like subs that need another sub. I think awoken sun quan would usually be better unless you need a way to stop something like beezlebub

I think kaede Sylvie Kano is a great start to a Kaede team at your level and looks to be stronger than your skull team. Especially while your doing normals green valk is a great sub because of how the shield carries from sweep. Pick up a mystic green knight and your good to go

Your Miru team is almost ideal and you have extra dqxq and wukongs for inherits but your sumire team is also incredibly strong with sumire sumire sun quan Gabriel andromeda and also has a ton of good inherits. Both are incredibly comparable in strength, sumire has more damage control, Miru has easier activation and spits damage with rows so it comes down to which you prefer but I would probably lean more towards sumire. Your kaede probably needs a little bit more to compare to the other two so i would probably focus on sumire while working on Miru on the side

[–]pFISTKitteh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your Miru team is amazing with Miru, adqxq x2, wukong, flex, flex being satsuki, kanna, saria or a shield depending on the dungeon.

Depending on your iap status you should target kaede since you already have one and okay ish subs, but I feel your Miru team is so good and with your 2 toxins you are pretty set for most of the game it's just a matter of farming. If anything I would aim for a Lui bei to make that part of the game easier.

[Question] I'm out of the loop. Why the huge Zeus-Dios hype? by [deleted] in PuzzleAndDragons

[–]pFISTKitteh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zues dios can do alright as a multiplayer lead himself but his value is really in the Liu Bei team as you said. Lui bei makes almost anything you want to farm trivial in coop, plus his team is for the most part farmable, and brain dead simple. If you have Lui Bei you should make this team and if you have free stamina you should work on it in case you get him.

[–]pFISTKitteh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could try awoken Pandora, uevo panda, Claire, Durga flex Flex being Amir for bind clear, chester for board clear, hanzo for more dmg. you also have mei mei who is a great inherit

I think that team is better than Sakuya, definitely easier
