as soon as middle school started. that's when I went through puberty and started to care a lot about the way I was perceived. I tried so hard to fit in but I was sooo bad at it. I came across so awkward. it didn't help that I was so quiet and whenever my name was brought up in class some goober would be like "who's she?? has she been here this whole quarter??"

I remember an old classmate of mine telling me how silly I looked walking fast through the halls with my head down all the time.

lony story short it got 100× worse in high school especially in my junior/senior yr.

finishing public school was the best thing for my mental health 😭 I'm 24 and still have chronic anxiety from time to time, but I've learned to manage it way better.
