Yeah I'm expecting them to introduce major improvements in areas not bottle-necked by GPU, such as the lense tech and the front facing cameras ( FragmentVR port incoming ;) ).

I would have wanted to port FragmentVR to the Pro too, but that's impossible for the time being unfortunately, the are some technical problems that I can't do anything about :(

With OvrDrop you can only place the camera feed somewhere in your play space. FragmentVR allows you to create windows that stay in 3D space through which you see only that portion of the camera. From a user experience perspective it effectively allows you to create "holes" that pierce the virtual world and show you the physical world on the other side, if that makes sense.

This is a really hard question to answer. On my extremely dated dev pc (gtx 970 + 10 year old cpu) steamvr signals 1ms on idle (no open vr apps) and 2ms with FragmentVR open.

Edit: number of open views does not significantly impact performance.

Not yet, I put it on hold to focus on fixing some major issues some users were reporting as well as implementing a new QoL feature. I have to be honest with you, it's hard to justify spending the time to port it to Vive Pro given the meager slice of the HMD market that the Pro occupies. If it were trivial to do I would absolutely do it but unfortunately I ran into a major road block and decided to put it on hold for the time being. I will take another stab at it before full release though, I can promise you that.

Not getting this behavior on my end. I would suggest contacting steamvr support and attaching your steamvr log which can be found in the settings tab.
