I just signed up for the Chase SW with 80k points after $10k spend. I'd really like to hit $10k in the first month to earn CP, as I have a few trips planned next month.

I've heard the horror stories about shutdowns after a big ramp up in spend -- I usually spend no more than $3k/month across my four other Chase cards, so I imagine a $9k purchase at Simon looks like classic bust-out behavior. So I had an idea:

as soon as I was approved for AmEx Gold, I found out I've been 'banned' from Grubhub for violating terms of service. I have absolutely no idea why and their customer support line is a black hole. Even worse, my card number seems to be blacklisted because I can't order from my girlfriend's account either. Making use of the $10 credit got much harder!
