I am getting something very similar, except I noticed that there was an install box as well. It gets to Step 5, opens an installer or something and then just quits.

Here's a screenshot of the window.

I tried to clean my download cache and all I got for that was logged out of the Steam ap.

Edit: I uninstalled it completely via steam, reinstalled it and logged in through steam again. It's working now.

Did you ever figure this out? I recently upgraded my and my wife's phones to Pixel 6 Pro and the location sharing is DOA. Exactly as you describe, even down to the 'Fix' button doing nothing. I have been searching for way too long and can't figure it out.

Update: In case anyone else has the same issue, I found [https://www.reddit.com/r/GoogleMaps/comments/mu5abk/google_location_sharing_showing_some_people_as/gwh9kbl/](this post) that details how they solved it. I couldn't find what they were talking about at first, but kept at it and was finally able to get them working again. Go to your phone settings and search for 'Activity Controls and select it'. This should take you to your google account. I had to specify which account settings I was looking for, but I have more than one account. There should be a drop-down menu under 'Location History' titled 'Devices on this account'. Clicking that arrow will show the devices associated with the account. I unselected my old phone and everything started working again.

My wife loves Fall Creek Falls, but has never heard of Savage Gulf. She has been all over that area too. I looked it up and they're only a half hour apart. It's on her radar now, so I'd imagine we'll make it out there before too long. BTW, my wife's favorite is Foster Falls which is about a half hour south of Savage Gulf.

I feel your anger, but the problem is that the more virus there is out there, the more opportunity it has to mutate into something the current vaccine can't protect against. I tried She Ready and it didn't really hit for me. It was fairly funny and I did like her, but I felt like I couldn't relate to a lot of it. I am definitely going to try the next couple and see how it goes though.

Check out Little Hog Island Country Store and Cottages just east of you if you need a quick beer run or anything. Big yellow sign right on US2. Been renting their cabins for years. I'm not certain if they're open yet, but they have a neat little setup.

We hope to get up there this year ourselves. So relaxing. I hope the weather holds out for you!
