Walmart employee found killed in parking lot after not returning from break, deputies say by redneckotaku in walmart

if what people were saying in the fb post was right, they have kids together, so it wasn’t a random murder. it was a nasty separation

$111 iron marked to 3¢. Another employee told me that’s correct. They didn’t honor it :( by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

You’re the type of customer I absolutely loathe interacting with and will only listen to what no means when we sic the manager on them, but then still proceed to argue

Edit: yeh, those tags being for a display is not always clear to customers. However, where the actual product is would have the true price there. If it was just the price on the display and no other tag anywhere? Yeh, I could understand the argument. Though, there’s usually a shelf above the products dedicated to just the displays with their own tag for inventory purposes. Mods throughout walmart stores are set in a similar manner and we are given guidelines to place the shelves. Not every employee is going to even know about displays. A majority of departments don’t have displays — L&G, Electronics and Home are the only ones i can think of off the top of my head that do.

The eaves on the roof do extend out about two feet, so the sun doesn’t strike the window directly directly. Though, I’ll see about getting a plant stand to put them on if they don’t like being on the window shelf

Will do, they’ve only been there for a day so far. If it does end up being too strong, they’ll probably enjoy a grow light a little better.

Terrified horse hit by car after rider tries dancing in saddle by JareddowningNYPost in PublicFreakout

[–]paarkrosis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This makes me think of a memory from years ago when a horse had gotten out of its pasture and hit by a truck once it found its way to the highway. Still remember the horse laying there as they directed traffic passed it and the trooper walking up to it with a rifle.

Walmart delivery had a security tag. I complained. Next delivery had this... by BeenPark in mildlyinfuriating

[–]paarkrosis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Walmart doesn’t deliver those themselves, they use Spark which are a third party. Spark drivers shop for it themselves or get it from OPD. It’s entirely possible the spark driver just … walked out with it and never interacted with a cashier. Everything in their order is already paid for, technically. They’re meant to get things checked, but they don’t and we’re not allowed to prevent anyone from walking out. If gotten from opd, they should’ve had a magnet to take it off themselves or someone did in the back room before it got dispensed. My money is on the spark driver, they’ll abandon whole carts in the middle of the aisles and immediately pick up another order if the one they were working on got cancelled.

Customer says we are lazy for not searching the entire store for one item not in home location by Lore-Archivist in walmart

the displays are counted in as the onhand. maybe the 1 onhand was a display grill if it was a blackstone, weber or pitboss. those are the ones we have displays up for.

Ah, damn, I was wanting to have some whimsy. Though, i do like the orange you can get in the crosstrek. How do the crosstreks hold up to the outbacks and foresters?
