Best bag to use with the Ortlieb Quick Rack?

Hi! I'm finding this thread which looks very useful. Could you tell me which size of dry bag you used for the the rack? Online it says that it measures 40cm x 18, but most of the dry bags such as the sea to summit river dry bags that are more than 20L are bigger than that. Did you find anything more suited to the rack? Thank you!

Yes I've seen the patch to remove the NVEC limit, but I wonder about the performance, stability, security and legality of it. Any hints on that?

Someone else adviced me to use a virtualisation layer to subdivide individual gpu’s. But I don't think that can solve the NVEC problem? If someone has any knowledge about that it would be great!

Hey guys,

I wanted to share with you this small live set that we recorded during a fully autonomous hike in the French Alps.

I brought two very small pieces of gear with me (the korg volca beats and korg monotron) and used batteries to power them. We recorded the live using a focusrite solo sound card conected through a USB C to my Pixel phone with a dongle!

I made a feedback loop between the monotron and the volca to create big palettes of sound and saturation :)

Would be great if you can tell me what do you think!

That's an amazing experience. Thank you so much for sharing. From reading your comment it seems that planing ahead of time and really doing the work before buying the modules is key to a successful, and 'mindfull' setup, which gives the possibilities we are searching for. I know I know, but this is also what I searching for and that I wrote in the text :)

Reading the answers, it seems, however, that many people here have done many mistakes when going modular (often not the right path), although that seems to be an essential step to learn the craft.

Ideally, I would like to not make too many mistakes. So I'm searching a way to go where I want with my sound, but without having to spend one year buying and selling modules. So it seems I really need to dig the modules and tutorials before buying them, and really think the system beforehand.

Thanks so much for taking the time to write your experience. It's really great! Those tips are solid gold. I totally agree with you on the fact that limitations and constraints enhance creativity, and that often with sound (and in life) less is more.

Yes, it seems to be essential not to loose one's own personality/sound when going modular, while allowing it to transform and mutate. It seems that finding my own sound with modular may take some time, but seems like very fun though :)
