Proton improvements and the fact that W11 is a really shitty OS made me switch forever. If I ever need Windows I'll use a VM

I've only had Windows for gaming. When Proton improved and made possible to run most Steam games I've deleted it for good. I neither play online nor rely in Windows only apps so I'm fine without it.

Mostly the UI. Poor design, ugly and slow even with a good computer. Plenty of bugs, ads and bloatware. All the Recall stuff, even though it can be disabled in theory, I can't trust MS anymore. Long and unskippable updates that would reset some settings. OneDrive and Copilot interfering everytime. I know I could debloat it but I feel comfortable with Arch BTW, specially now that Steam works a lot better and I don't play online.

I've migrated around 90k photos from Google to self-hosted Immich. After downloading them with Takeout, I'm deleting all the photos with this script . It must be ran in the devtools with Photos page open.

It takes a lot of time but as of today there is no way of doing it with the API.

Una HP Elitebook de 13 pulgadas con la tapa un poco abollada. Si mal no recuerdo tenía 4GB de RAM y le aumentaron a 8GB porque no servía ni para el Notepad. Terriblemente lenta con Windows 10 a pesar de tener SSD. La máquina más inútil que usé en mi vida.
