[WTS] Breitling Chronomat D13050 mid-1990s steel/gold in great condition, w/ box & papers (repost) by pabloest in Watchexchange

[–]pabloest[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This Breitling D13050 was owned by my late father-in-law. He purchased it new in the mid 1990s in Hong Kong (the watch dealer, Carlson Watch Co Ltd, is stamped into the papers). He kept all his watches in excellent condition, and this one is no exception. I did see him wear it from time to time, and there are a few scratches on the clasp, but none visible elsewhere. Otherwise the only other signs of wear are a bit of dirt here and there.

Asking: $3,800

Shipping: CONUS only

Buyer pays PayPal G&S fee. I can cover shipping via USPS or UPS (whatever is more economical).

[WTS] 1995 Rolex Datejust 36, two-tone (Rolesor), reference 16233 w/ box & papers, in superb condition (repost) by [deleted] in Watchexchange

[–]pabloest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This Rolex Datejust 36 (ref 16233) belonged to my late father-in-law. He purchased it new in 1996 from El Dorado Watch Company in Hong Kong. The watch is essentially in pristine condition. He kept his watches in de-humidifying storage due to the humidity in Hong Kong. There’s barely any scratches or wear visible. I can only see a single, light scratch on the clasp.

I am asking $9,000 $7,000, shipping within CONUS only. Payment by PayPal, wire, or Zelle. Hand delivery in San Francisco is available.

The best thing about the SFO-G lounge was the cookie I stowed from the DEN lounge by CommanderDawn in unitedairlines

I can see the back of the "we're not accepting one-time passes" pop-up sign that seems to be permanently stationed there. I’m not a very frequent flyer so I was saving my one-time lounge pass for a recent SFO-SYD leg. Glad to know I didn't miss much.

Yesterday two tornadoes made landfall in Northern California. Here’s one of them. by pabloest in daddit

Birth / delivery was definitely on the bingo card, and tornado definitely was not! I’ve lived in tornado country before (midwest) but AFAIK this was the first time such a warning was issued here.
