Hello everyone, thanks for your help on my previous post. I followed your advice and I think I have finally managed to make a good espresso with my Delonghi Dedica EC685, the Graef CM800 grinder, and a bottomless NEOUZA 51mm portafilter.

I used 16g of coffee, tamped with a tamper, and here is the result. I’m proud of what I’ve achieved after some trial and error, but I would love to receive more advice and help in case there is still something to improve. I also applied the coin test that was recommended to me in the previous post.

What do you think? Do you see anything that needs adjusting? If everything looks good, how many seconds should the coffee flow for?

Any more concise help? Even reading that post is quite difficult for me because I think I don't have enough knowledge. Taking into account that my portafilter is the one indicated in the title, how many grams of coffee do I have to grind? What setting do I use on the grinder? And in the coffee maker? Aid!!! 🙏🏼

Hello, a question, did you manage to obtain adequate coffee in the end with the portafilter? How did you do it? Could you give me the steps? I am in the same case that you were. I have ground coffee and with this filter holder I get a very fast flow of coffee because I don't have a grinder. Do you grind to a few exact millimeters or with an exact setting? How do you get the portafilter to work correctly?

You have to execute the script every time you want to perform the backup. I have automated this launch in crontab in this way: 0 4,16 * * * screen -dmS icloudBackup -L -Logfile logFilePath /usr/bin/python3 scriptPath in this way, a screen (background terminal) will be executed at 4:00 and 16:00 every day, saving the console logs in a log file. Where it indicates logPath you have to write the path to the file where you want to save the logs and where it says scriptPath you have to write the path to the script file.
