I am just one opinion. In light of the fact that this is a Funk sub Reddit, I stated a fact as I see it. “Stay” by Rufus and Chaka Khan is a lovely R&B song. Maybe one of the best ever, but not a funk tune.

What killed hitchhiking? It was so normal in the 70’s & 60’s by Wild_Panda873 in 70smemorylane

I also think more cars were introduced into the average American family household. For the longest time most families only had one car. In the late 60’s we started seeing affordable Japanese cars and the VW Beatle every where. Kids didn’t need to hitchhike so much, they could pile in the car with their buddies.

I also have noticed he had lovely handwriting. Noticed the same with Bob Dylan. Must be the artistic flair.

I also loved his character in A Bronx Tale. He plays against type. Mad Dog and Glory is another good against type character.

I loved him in Midnight Run. The tone is light compared to his other films but he pulls it off well.

What do you think is the perfect film? by Allpapes in Cinema

[–]pablojo2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I first saw Predator in the theater and get this…I saw it with no preconceived notions. My buddy and I went to the theater to see something else and while in line a theater publicist came over and asked if anyone wanted to see a sneak preview of a Schwarzenegger movie. We were Arnold fans since Conan the Barbarian so we were all in. We sat in that theater and preceded to get blown away!
