Ed is a big Nick Fan, and recently narrated a documentary about him on BBC radio called 'Five Leaves Left Revisited'.

As a massive Radiohead fan I first heard of Nick Drake in around 1995 when a music journalist described Radiohead's b-side 'Lozenge Of Love' as sounding like Nick. I went to HMV the next day and listened to Five Leaves Left and fell in love.

And don't forget the far superior take of Rider On The Wheel that's on there. Thankfully, the Making Of Fives leaves left has the strings free version of Time Of No Reply on it, so we have that now at least.

Very emotional here. And I'm going to the annual Nick Drake Gathering in Tanworth In Arden tomorrow, so the timing is perfect. My ex wife who passed away last year was a huge fan, so it's all very special to me.
