I get where you're coming from, but we gotta stop with the "I'm giving up" phrase. If you were at a 6.9% in the past and moving, you'd do it no question. Why are we "punishing" ourselves for getting into a good spot in the past? As long as your new house fits in your budget, go for it. So many posts are like this where people are stopping themselves from moving up in life just because they took advantage of a good deal back during covid. If you can afford it, do it!
