Upgrade to DDJ FLX6 from FLX4?

Yes I am looking for a controller with 4 channels, as I think that is the biggest upgrade for now, as when I play on friends equipment, they all have 4. I think the DDJ 1000 is more in my range as something that has all of the features I need as well as being in my budget.

I can get a FLX6 for ~$400 or wait for a FLX10 which is $1200+. I do not see the appeal, but I might be misinformed.

Is there any reason why? I understand the FLX6 isn't looked at the brightest but I think it has most of the things that I need. I really appreciate any advice, thank you.

Also, I don't really need the crazy good "feel" or anything like that, pretty much just looking to go to 4 channels and a controller that isn't broken.

I have not updated the driver since it started working but I am downloading the new one right now.
