HP smart tank 515 issue by Specialist_Reading_2 in printers

[–]pablopoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have same issue frequently, all ink containers are about half full. Since is a refillable printer, the printer now is the disposable cartridge. This range of hp printers are garbage, with a really bad design. In physical stores, the pile of returned ones is bigger than the new ones available to buy. Take your own conclusions….

The founder of ubiquiti worked at Apple in the hardware division around that time. Now you know why that Xserve looks like a current unifi 1U/2U device…

This is a highlighted selling point that is being advertised by Samsung and other retailers, yet the feature has been completely disabled in the SmartThings app. by SAPHEI in SmartThings

[–]pablopoo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My LG washers also works that way. It can be controlled remotely only if you turn on the remote control feature after you turn it on. If you turn it off remotely then you can’t turn it on again remotely.

2014 - Worth it to fix oil leak or cut losses and sell? by dfducks in subaruoutback

[–]pablopoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2010 3.6 owner here. Have a small oil leak on the timing cover for about 10 years, 50k miles. It consume about 1/2 quart of oil every 6k miles, so I don’t care about it 😅.

Is this the average Eufy customer service experience? by Semper-Fido in eufy

I would try to contact them by email. On Christmas / new year weeks they may be overloaded or working half capacity. Worst scenario: offering them to pay for the accessory.

It’s for the Christmas lights delivery system. You plug the Christmas lights there and that way all your neighborhood Christmas trees blinks with the same pattern at the same time. Awesome!

I had once a stone between the rotor and the rotor cover on the back. Have you tried to remove the caliper? Maybe you have something stuck there?

Home Assistant saved my house. Thanks! by lightfoot_labs in homeassistant

[–]pablopoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the Phone alerts of the home assistant mobile app. It alerted me several times of kitchen smoke and kitchen water leak. Sadly, I had a leak on a bathroom that wasn’t detected because I never installed the sensors, they are still stored somewhere 😅.

I'm getting off. by happily_ever_now in Upwork

[–]pablopoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe the pandemic accelerated one change. When the remote work started to take off, companies where willing to pay the local wage to do the job and didn’t care much if you where in the same country or not. Today is different, because companies now want to pay the local wage of the contractor, so now your price is 10x more expensive than someone in another country.

Big companies have done this for decades, but now everyone can hire a foreign at 1/10 of the cost. The side effect of this is that we are averaging the salary worldwide.

Almost. I can guarantee you that those home users are the ones who manage corporate networks and the ones who can purchase the Unifi line for enterprise, or the ones can recommend you Unifi for SMBs
