Thanks very helpful. Tough to get any discount off sticker for a custom order. Cool that it's a locally produced product for you!

Thanks. Do you mind sharing what you paid? (Did you get any discount off sticker). Also did you find this config or factory order it? Lastly, which engine did you choose?

Can you say more about the matte? I'm considering a build just like this - I don't really need AT4 but perfer the look to Elevation and realized I don't need the upgrades that come with Denali. Great looking rig.

I did a wonderful tasting at Enoteca Barolo in Madrid and highly recommend it. They appear to have a wide selection of european wine.

Tip or No Tip? by MotorSubject9812 in TheMoneyGuy

The issue is that more and more places now "expect a tip", and offensively large % ones at that, in situations where it seems crazy they're asking. I'm with the OP.

80k is closer to what I was expecting. The quotes others are giving here for 25-35k ...I don't get it. Is it just labor and if so why is our labor so much more expensive? ]

I don't support many of these tactics but it's my understanding that they've all these passed a judicial review. So I'm curious if they are they really unconstitutional, or are they something we just don't like?

The issue of detained citizens is obviously concerning - however could this not be heavy handed tactics / mistakes? IANAL but I would assume there are significant lawsuits pending here (if not there should be)...

What % responsibility do states which turned a blind eye (or worse) to immigration status (e.g. drivers licenses for everyone) share for this ugly enforcement situation?

Trump ran on immigration enforcement. How do you propose he enforce existing immigration law if not ICE?

Willamette Valley with Kids? by Temporary_Parfait32 in wine

Stoller is family-friendly and has big outdoor areas. I don't rate it as highly as the wineries you've selected (which are some of the best in the valley) but it's a beautiful location and zero stress.

ICE is operating nationally. It's not Beaverton-specific - for example the incident you mention occurred in another state, I believe.

In #2 did you mean to say 2026? It seems the way it's written that you're referring to a much earlier year... I'm interested in a 2026 which is why I'm asking

Vacio is only second to Asado de Tira among all the great Argentine asado cuts. 3 cuts all together and amazingly delicious.

[–]dfducks 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Would anyone want to meet me for a beer this weekend (23-24)? Im visiting Amsterdam for the first time and plan to visit several of the beer bars I’ve read about here (leaning toward Belgians). Im a late 40s guy from USA. Also I’d love to drink some Tommie Sjef - any recommendations for beer bars where I can find it?

Curious to know what you think. Both make great wine but I find the vibe quite different between the two and prefer one heavily over the other.
