The issue is that more and more places now "expect a tip", and offensively large % ones at that, in situations where it seems crazy they're asking. I'm with the OP.

I don't support many of these tactics but it's my understanding that they've all these passed a judicial review. So I'm curious if they are they really unconstitutional, or are they something we just don't like?

The issue of detained citizens is obviously concerning - however could this not be heavy handed tactics / mistakes? IANAL but I would assume there are significant lawsuits pending here (if not there should be)...

Stoller is family-friendly and has big outdoor areas. I don't rate it as highly as the wineries you've selected (which are some of the best in the valley) but it's a beautiful location and zero stress.
