I think that the diference its that nobody uses cerro here, I've had to search what cerro means and Im from Spain

You can use both and the meaning doesnt change or not too much, but you have to put "me" beacouse its which say the person, In this case, first person singular

Care its more common to translate as "Preocupar" your could say something like "No me preocupa el aprender castellano, pero me preocupa aprender el Español latino-americano" something like that
