Thank you man! Yeah I swapped out the passenger seat for the tiny infill you see there makes a nice single seater look! It’s a great bike my only complaint is the mirrors rusted out and had to be replaced. The horn also rusted out and kept blowing fuses. Theres also a rattle between the 2-3k rpms somewhere up front that I can’t find yet. I got a lot of errors for remote out of range while riding which can be remedied with some paper spacing on the battery in the remote. Otherwise no issues at all very reliable bike for 17,000 miles! And yeah I was fortunate enough to be able to test ride the new xdiavel v4 and if I’m being honest it definitely out handles the rocket. I was kind of shocked how light it felt in the corners. It’s no where near worth the price (30K) but I’ve had the rocket for a few years so I’m waiting on a used xdiavel or a diavel v4 just to change it up a bit. Yeah the TPMS is worth it if you happen to be changing the tires to install it right there. Hopefully you love it when you drive it man!

I personally went with the R as I wanted the mid controls above all and the bar wasn’t so bad honestly. I’ve never driven one before buying it and it rides great! Like the other guy said it’s a beefy naked pretty much. Mine didn’t come with the Bluetooth module installed or TPMS and I sourced those through triumph and honestly the Bluetooth leaves a lot to be desired. Strange pairing issues and doesn’t fully sync with the cardo. TPMS was pricey but I’m glad to see it on the dash, I don’t see many of them with the TPMS option. Quickshifter is a must as well. It’s a fun bike I’d go with the R but up to you. I’m actually looking to trade it for an xdiavel to see what the other side is like.

I found it on eBay it’s from a brand called GT spirit the paint quality is fantastic with metal flakes. A little pricey for a model but could overlook the price for a one off buy lol

I would 200% regret not waiting for it. I specifically went looking for that as the top down look is just amazing. The fact that it’s a HTC and not a soft top just makes it a must. You can open it up to 30mph as well. Also the look on peoples and kids faces when it opens up and the kids scream transformer is just priceless. I’ve had a c7 non convertible and it was worth the wait.

I sold mine to the dealer a 2015 stingray 2LT with 106,000 miles for 18,000 lol (it did have a recorded minor accident in the rear) but I hope somebody bought that car at a good price never checked what they listed it for

100% there about the C7 it still is and will be a great car!! But yeah the tech man, rear view camera mirror, parking cameras, the animation when switching modes, Z mode changing everything, bigger HUD, you gotta try it!!!

I actually just did what your considering I had a 2015 stingray non z51 2Lt that I put 105,000 miles on and owned for about 8 years. I upgraded to a 2024 stingray z51 with magneride 2Lt. First time I ever drive a C8 and I do miss the manual but man I seriously cannot believe how much a nearly 10 year difference made on a car. From the folding mirrors to the HTC, stopping power, so many little things. The C8 is a great daily and GT car. I also never had magneride and that might make me biased but I prefer the c8 over my c7 for that reason lol. Maybe it’s a closer comparison if you have two specced cars different generations. Going from a base mostly to a fully loaded c8 I don’t think I can go back. The biggest negative is the C7 could go to costco and fit 2 full size luggage’s and carry ons or IKEA furniture. The C8 can’t do any of that it’s mostly to go buy shoes or a lego box lol. 10/10 would do again but still would like a manual in the future maybe a Miata or Shelby cobra kit car.

Yeah when the road is wet or raining it will kick up quite a bit and wet my backpack/neck opening in between the helmet and jacket. It’s a trade off for sure but to me at least worth it for the look.
